May 17, 201115 yr Gents-For those that are paying attention to this thread- a couple of little things for you:Vin's image above gives you a really neat perspective on how the collimated HUD provides you with the impression of depth perception. We'll give you a rundown on what it is doing in a later update (probably a tutorial on how it works so you can use it the way it was intended!)I've read posts from a few folks worried that "detail is going to make this hard to use." To the contrary- since this HUD works the way it is supposed to in the airplane- it makes it INCREDIBLY intuitive. There is quite a bit of science behind HUD design- and all of it is geared toward making the pilot experience easier, more intuitive and effective.Okay- so you've read this far- here is a little tid-bit: Tonight we had our first full-on "release scheduling" discussing... We still have those two mile-markers I mentioned in my previous post- but we should pass those this week. Once we are beyond them, I'll have some news on a release date. Stay tuned! Thanks RSR! Great news! Rgds - Sam Harridann
