May 17, 201115 yr Here's what I don't like about the screenshot. The dust on the displays are so realistic that I keep thinking my monitor is dusty and I try to wipe the dust off. This has literally happened to me several times. But in all seriousness, It's amazing how realistic the cockpit is. You guys have outdone yourselves.
May 17, 201115 yr It looks superb... better than another 737 VC I've seen recently :( | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 17, 201115 yr Remember like people were complaining that the cockpit looks "dirty" with all these bread crumbs and human grease deposits... :( Except for some obvious wear signs in the fabric the cockpit looks fairly fresh to me. Michael J.

May 17, 201115 yr Been following this project for so long now and I must say BRAVO PMDG! Amazing work!
May 17, 201115 yr I don't think I have more words of praise that hasn't already been said here... It's unbelievably well done this! The HQ picture is uncanny! I think many people would find it hard to tell if it was a real picture or not(except for the missing pilots).I love the details, like the LCD that someone else also mentioned they have back lighting(viva plasma), and the lights on the MCP the buttons there have striped lights so clear and crisp... My old 747 has them to, but they are a bit smudgy Oh and RR... It's not so dirty, what are you saying?! Yours trulyBoaz FraizerCopenhagen, Denmark

May 17, 201115 yr Gents-For those that are paying attention to this thread- a couple of little things for you:Vin's image above gives you a really neat perspective on how the collimated HUD provides you with the impression of depth perception. We'll give you a rundown on what it is doing in a later update (probably a tutorial on how it works so you can use it the way it was intended!)I've read posts from a few folks worried that "detail is going to make this hard to use." To the contrary- since this HUD works the way it is supposed to in the airplane- it makes it INCREDIBLY intuitive. There is quite a bit of science behind HUD design- and all of it is geared toward making the pilot experience easier, more intuitive and effective.Okay- so you've read this far- here is a little tid-bit: Tonight we had our first full-on "release scheduling" discussion with a calendar and specific dates involved... We still have those two mile-markers I mentioned in my previous post- but we should pass those this week. Once we are beyond them, I'll have some news on a release date. Stay tuned! If you're taking requests: 06/01/2011 (<- I return from travel then)Thanks for the updates Vin, Robert, and Ryan Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

The end of my boredom. Why you cant just make an installer right now, and put it for sale :(Really??? I'd much rather be in the carribean than glued to my computer screen. Well it should hopefully release before July cause I'm going on holiday then :D Joe Barton

May 18, 201115 yr Commercial Member curious to see the ngx in comparison but judging from the pics it is even superior to their own js41I think it's actually far superior to the J41 - the J41 was sorta the prototype for the type of modelling Vin's doing with the NGX VC, but it's gotten a lot more advanced since.
