They on the other hand might be losing customers, and if the product, god forbid, never released, you wouldn't lose anything, but PMDG would lose so much more.

To be honest, I've considered buying them but haven't decided just yet. Most (not all, but most) people with the kind of money to buy those manuals have regular day jobs & possibly families. They're mature enough to understand they're buying the manuals without knowing when they'll get the NGX. Granted at the time we all thought it'd be December 2010, but even then I don't recall any of the staff sounding any more than hopeful about that timeline. The delays used to aggravate me, but the past few months Iv'e learned to sit back & take it in the proper perspective. Yes, it will be a revolutionary product. Yes it is the ideal aircraft to fly in the time-slots I have (2-4 hours). Yes the teaser screenshots & videos make it appear to be a fully working model ready for true beta. In the end, every day or week or month it gets delayed is another bug/tweak I won't have to get help for or write off as a limitation of FSX that we just have to deal with. 2 years from now it won't matter if the NGX were released tomorrow or in November. It'll still be the best 737 available for FSX & we'll all still enjoy flying it. I for one will be saying how glad I am RSR chose not to release prematurely.Anyways, that's my opinion. It and 2 bucks might get you a cup of coffee in most gas stations.

No not even to the people, including myself, who invested in the manuals. If you have bought the manuals you've paid for a real set of Boeing 737NG manuals, with a PMDG logo and a picture of the NG(X) on the front. Nobody told you to buy the manuals, so PMDG doesn't owe you the NGX just because you bought some books from them. It didn't say anywhere that you will be guaranteed the the FSX add-on if you buy them. Also they are included in pdf format with the NGX, so you could've saved your money. I seriously don't think that PMDG has earned a single dollar on the NGX yet, because pre-ordering isn't an option. Nobody has paid for the NGX FSX add-on. Those who bought the NGX manuals received BOOKS, not a FSX add-on. So I really don't see why they owe anyone of you, nor me anything. I got what I paid for so far. Books! And if some of you still think they owe you something because you've got the 747X and the MD11 and you're the most loyal costumer ever, or what ever other stupid reason, then you should probably consider suing them.

Why PMDG doesn't just ban some of you is a mystery to me! Accusing Ryan of being on his period!? The irony is just amazing....for many of you your posts seem to suggest that very thing! :) PMDG owes you nothing! I wish more reasonable people would take a stand against this. I know you're out there! As people like to note, this is a public forum and, within the applicable rules, you are free to express your opinions.
