PMDG 737NGX Pricing and Availability

Featured Replies

you really do need to see what we've accomplished here with this product for yourself before you deem FS9 and 2D panels "maximum reality" I think...
No, no, I was not talking of 2D panels, only VC. The concept of the 2D cockpit is not realistic for me. Well, I have seen the AoA videos on the 737 and they are gorgeous, it looks an incredible airplane. Anyway, with "reality" I mean aircraft systems, flight dynamics, procedures *AND* fluidity of the simulation. I don't mind if the VC of the Maddog has a lower definition than the 737, I mind if the simulation is more fluid! I don't own FSX, but most of FSX users have complained about its heaviness in terms of fps since the beginning of the world. How is that now everyone is shocked by what I say? Suddenly FSX has become faster? Further, I don't think that with such a complex aircraft as the 737 NGX, things will be that fast. What I say about the terrain display comes from my experience with the Maddog. Most times there is no frame loss, but when for example I fly through the mountains of the "Approaching Innsbruck" addon scenery, I get a visible and annoying decrease if I turn the terrain display on.

Really looking forward to this. Will the manuals be released (for download) via the PMDG website?

Thanks PMDG waited sooo many years! and now, only a few days left! Just THANK YOU!! :( :( :(

If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot

There is a massive crowd of us FS2004 users who won't use FSX just for this plane. Much money your team wont be making. We will really like for you to make a FS2004 version, otherwise your company will go down. IFLY is better than you anyway. I know how immature PMDG is. They cannot take criticizm not even on Facebook. Shoot they deleted my postings yesterday. And to the smart aleck from facebook. This aint PS2 nor PS3 we can run FS2004 and its ridiculous to put Computers and gaming consoles in the same category. PMDG would not be downgrading they will be enlarging their cunsumer base if they are smart. If this post is deleted I know this PMDG has gotten so cocky they will disrespect anyone else who sounds off their right to speak. I will be reposteing this in another thread PMDG has no control over. -Doyle

Certainly cheaper than I was expecting, and if I could preorder you'd have my money for the base pack already. Will certainly get the 6/7 and ER packs, and also the BBJ if it happens. Since I can't preorder though, may I say how nice of you it was to defer the release until after your moronic government defaults the country's debt :( Gary

Thank you PMDG. I am looking forward to the BBJ variants. One question.... Will the paint kits be available from day 1 or will they be later on down the road?Kerry Gipe

I'm amazed so many people are surprised by the pricing structure. PMDG know they can't price themselves out of the market. Rather than rely on selling an expensive 'niche' product to a small, voluble group of fanatics, they're aiming for the great 'silent' majority. They know they'll shift a lot more units this way..And good for them. I'm very pleased the base package will cost me less than I paid for my last complex airliner.Ian

Great news Robert and team, thanks for the info

Thanks

This is a really.... REALLY FAIR price. I mean, 3 years (or more i guess?) of development and dedication, bringing us the ultimative simulation to our home PC's, worths for ME even more than the actual prices. I am glad it's not that high, i expected it to be slightly higher though. Still, a very fair price in my opinion.I think PMDG should already receive all the awards out there for FS Addons :PEDIT: ^ I mean all the awards for PMDG NGX before it was even released ^

Certainly less than I think most of us were stealing ourselves for. What do I spend the extra £20 I'll have in my pocket on?
Or maybe send a bouquet of flowers to your wife? Guess she's gonna need it when this baby lands on your doorstep, just a sign that you still love her :PPMDG, CONGRATZ!!! Beautifull work, and definitely worth the wait!:(

Haven't they already? Or are there any awards they weren't given already? :(

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

Priceless....I owe you big time after 16 hours of work !PS. Ryan you delete this I kill you :(
He should delete it, you didn't sign your full name!! Just joking!!Big%20Grin.gif

Indeed a fair price (especially as i will be charged in euro's) so one more to count in for base/600/er package.I think (and hope for PMDG) this will indeed generate massive sales and PMDG will get their well earned ROI. And as for my guess (but i am no marketing consultant so for what it is worth) this will probably come true even without giving in to whining (non-buying) customers who "demand" to bring this out on FS9. Looking forward to the release date.RSR: hope your turnover will be a pleasant birthday present. You and your team deserve itFred Koch

Judging from some of the impeccable writing here ("much money your team won't be making"), I'm wondering if "Doyle" isn't really Jar-Jar Binks.
