Not saying I am right in any way what so ever, in fact I am probably wrong but I recall bout' a year ago when RSR said if they told us it would be very very late in the night, or early in the morning for that matter. But who know's, maybe my mind is fooling me yet again. We shall see what events transpire tonight... I know I am not going to bed Hypnotized.gif Oh and before I forget, I have done the math. PMDG has over 350,000 waiters (what my friends told me, not quite sure on that) ... But if this is the case, PMDG will be reeling in a jaw dropping total of 24,500,00 USD... If my calculations are correct... (correct me if I am wrong, was too lazy to use a calculator) Then PMDG will be getting a pay check of over 24 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!! Money%20Eyes.gif
FSX sales numbers were only 200K to 275K units per year in the first couple of years after release. You might need to do some more ciphering!

I'm not saying it's not going to happen, but keep in mind that it's not a deadline. It's an anticipated release, meaning, they're taking a guess that's a little more firm than the vagueness we've gotten up until now. So, that being said, I'd prefer to not see the forums burning tomorrow night if nothing happens. Then again, I'm not going to be surprised if they are...
True True....

Look in the TrackIR Forum for a TrackIR Profile called Seth_-_Flight.xml and place it in your TrackIR Profile sub folder. Its primarilly for TrackIR5 users but works with TrackIR4 too, I have that one. Its really well setup, quite settled but responsive. You could use that as your base profile and then fine tune from there. Don`t forget to make sure the Seph Profile is used each time you start the TrackIR program, I thought mine was faulty today but the default profile was selected instead. Just minimize the TrackIR program after you open and select the Seph Profile. Good luck,

Guys- There is just NO way they are going to sell that many copies. PMDG have said before that this is a small market. Nobody really knows, but 7,500-10,000 dowloads is probably more conservative and realistic.

Well I was a little pesimistic yesterday about NGX been release tomorrow, but today I'm a little optimistic. Why? We haven't heard anything from PMDG in the past few days and that could mean they are getting the download packages and their servers ready for the huge amount of traffic and downloads. If their server goes down tomorrow after the release there is going to be pandemonium and chaos all over the world LOL.gif. If something would have been wrong and they couldn't hit their Aug04 mark I think we would have heard it by now. I believe that as much as they said there is no giong to be a surprise release they are going to do a kind of surprise release "Its ready now, go and get it guys!!!!". So, I'm keeping my fingers cross. RaulOrlando, Fl.

Talking about crazy, when the 747 was released it crashed both PMDG and the avsim forums. I woke up early and downloaded my copy then went back to bed. Lots of people had to wait till they fixed it. I do not beleive that is going to happen again. Fingers crossed. Nail%20Biting.gifCry.gif EDIT: To put the size of this release into perspective, the website over at Angle of Attack is posting that they are upgrading their servers to keep up with the traffic.

Well this is the way I choose to look at the situation: no news means good news. If I understood RSR well, by now they should have notified us if they anticipated a delay. For them not to have said anything till now, it means they're still on schedule. I don't believe they'd wait till tomorrow before telling us it won't be possible. Also bear in mind the announcement of the code freeze state. Isn't that supposed to mean that they're not doing any more debugging?

11:02am in Japan and I'm finding it hard to concentrate on work, Big Grin.gif . I don't think it will be any easier when it is released either. I'll just want to go home and fly it.

10:03am in Shanghai. I'm still thinking whether I'll go to see HP7( first day in Shanghai) or waiting for NGX at home~~Shocked.gif

you were to have received some level of warning, according to the CEO, so I wouldn't expect some quick surprise tomorrow.

Remember that feeling the night before Christmas as a kid?? You couldn't sleep, you had your mind on the next day.... Well here I am 10:20 PM EST on August 3rd, not even tired, can't get my damn mind off this thing. Thankfully I have 2 more essays on Government Airline Regulation and Airport Security to keep me busy! Won't be surprised if there isn't a random NGX! blurted out mid essay!
