Absolutely false. We always stated that the Boeing manuals would be included as PDFs. There was a short period where we weren't sure we were going to be allowed to include the QRH PDF, but after that was confirmed I said that would be included as well. If you want me to go find the exact post links I will.
Yeah, I was about to say that the manuals point was made abundantly clear, over and over again, since people still managed to ask in about 32 other threads after there was an official stance out there. Lack of observation is only a fault of the lacking observer.

I'm at the lowest end of the recommended specs for this plane and I'm running it just fine. I also read before I buy and I learned things like the manuals would all be included and no refunds are given for software downloads.

I have had ZERO Crashes with the NGX. It is your set up, not the NGX

PMDG announced a service pack to be ready by the 23th of september (I know, they didn't say which year).Since I have 80% of all my flights quickly ended in a CTD, that SP should fix it or I will ask my money back. It's wonerfully made but also the most unstable program I've ever used. Sad thing is that I payed hundreds and hundreds of dollars for the Chief Captain manuals. After installing the NGX I saw that the majority of the info is included with the software. I know PMDG never officialy told what would be included and what not, but they never corrected people on this forum saying that it would be minimal. Bert Van Bulck, a quite unhappy customer.
You know what Bert. If you would just post your specs and at least a rough idea as to how you are set up etc, maybe somebody might give you a hand and offer some help. I just think you may be going about it the wrong way.

Hey guys just sitting here thinking (which is always dangerous :-)), these days there isn't very many developers willing to dive into a product for FSX not to mention to the extent of providing as best realism and experience as PMDG is shooting for........so lets be a little thankful.... the company has a risk here and was willing to take it in providing a top quality product for our enjoyment - they could have just as easily decided to fade into oblivion fearing the wrath of bugs and the like....what else would you be flying tonight, would it have met your technical expectations - likely not - would it even attempt to come close to what we are seeing being created (it is a work in progress) in the 737NGX?? I don't know about Bert but as far as I'm concerned kudo's to the folks at PMDG for doing their best to provide a product well above whats on the market - without their WILLINGNESS to develop a product we all can enjoy, the alternative would be our resignation to mediocrity in flight...... To the guys at PMDG from one grateful Canadian flight simmer - keep up the good work, we will endure while you figure out the various bugs,we can count on one hand and 3 fingers the number of companies trying to develop an advanced product and thank you for sticking your neck out and taking the risk - last time I checked not much software is immune to bugs, recalls and such things - On behalf of a grateful flight simmer.....thanks for your hard work and service to the flight sim community. Whenever I read topics like this I don't think - shame about an inadequate product. I think - shame someone's computer isn't set up correctly. The majority of us have no problems at all so that must say a lot I think.

I am a customer for PMDG products and I am flying the NGX on a daily basis, off/on line, tough weather, busy airports, many add ons, old computer and I did not have a single problem since the release of HF2 !! so I am now seriously considering must I install SP when it is released or no ? what would you do guys ? help please LOL
++Translated by Google++ I share their doubts, I'm also wondering whether or not to install SP1, my NGX, the current stage also works very well.I work computers, mount them to do for my clients.I do it about 20 years, and learned that the piece is more problematic that lies between the chair and keyboard.João Alfredo

PMDG j41, 747-400x, 747-8i/f, NGX.......Finally!!!!

I have not had one single CTD with the NGX. I had a break issue.........that got resolved when I assigned key commands for the auto break system, then I click the break button on my joystick twice like the manual says to do so, and bam, autobreaks disengage, and manual breaking occurs. I honestly do not know what everyone is complaining about, I have flown over 50 flights, from 50 different airports to 50 different destinations, and over 30 from my home airport to various destinations and the same thing happened every time, I set up my flight, programed the FMC, took off, and then landed. I read the manuals on how PMDG recommended setting up my computer with the fsx settings, added all of the necessary information to my FSX.cfg. Now granted, I believe that my computer is top notch, minus a rather, simplistic video card, which I hope to upgrade when I have the money to do so, so I really don't know the answer. I run the internet and navgraph nDAC in the background and am constantly switching between FSX and my other programs, and still nothing happens, other than my plane continues to fly in the sky. VNAV......flawless, LNAV......flawless. My cruise phase, decent phase, how I insert SIDS, and STARS, setting up the HUGS, everything, works just the way that it is supposed to. I bought the plane a little over a week after release, so its had a good amount of flight time. I really dont know what to say. For ME, this aircraft works exactly as they have been telling us it would work in the year(s) leading up to its actual release. All I did was read the NGX introduction, every single page, and did everything it told me to do. That being said, I tend to be pretty anal about my PC's heath and do a defrag every day, I maintain my computer fruitfully, and I keep it running stable. Maybe some issues are PC related and not necessarily PMDG's fault. I feel bad for those that paid a good amount of money for a product that costs more than the entire game is worth brand new, but believe me when I say this, It is possible to own this plane, and have it not fail on you every time, or ever for that matter. Trust me. Setting up the FMC properly is crucial, I would like to recant my first statement, I had a CTD once while setting up the FMC, and this happened, during my route building portion. I have the PMDG 747-400 so I was very familiar with the FMC. I dont know what I did wrong, so I read the NGX tutorial, that Ryan wrote, and followed the instructions, and haven't had an issue since. PMDG did a FANTASTIC job with this add-on, and I find it insulting for people to complain for months about release dates, and time frames, and schedules, only to complain about things that don't work. If there is a reason something doesn't work for you but works for another, than it can only be assumed that you, or your computer is the problem and not the software. Now, these statements are MY experiences, and MY opinions, What happens to one person but not another is out of my control, I don't know how anyone who is having problems, sets up their aircraft, or PC. I didn't buy my computer from Dell, or whom ever, I built it from scratch so I know exactly what is in my rig. Boards, cards CPU's etc, and how they work with each other. I would like to finish by saying that I am in no way singling anyone out in any way and am not intending on leading anyone to believe this to be the case. I am simply offering my two cents on the matter. Say what you will about me or my statements, because I do not care, but leave the developers alone and let them do their job, because if it truly is their software's problem then let them address it. Remember, with out the software developer, there is no software.

True for me too--no problems at all. I do feel fortunate though when I hear of the tales of woe of others. Good luck parsing it out Bert. Noel
