November 22, 201114 yr I completed a flight today with the IFLY 737NG in FS9 and it was an unforgetable experience. I can hardly wait now for Bryan to wave his magic for the NGX that I know will be awesome. If you guys want total immersion, this addon (when it surfaces) will be the icing on the NGX's cake and I heartily reccomend it. Dave Taylor
November 22, 201114 yr WARNING do NOT by the FS2Crew 737NG 'Audio' Switch and Light Guide Systems Training it's a complete waste of money!!!I did and regret it strongly! You will get some .jpg images over the cockpit and some guy, the worst nattaror I have ever heard. Will say like "The dome light switch controls the two domelights......" but NOT where you can find it "The ELT light illuminates when the ILT is activated" even I can figure that out.....Jackthe Swede in Spain Jack J Jackson Castalla, Alicante, Spain

I much appreciate Bryan'´s work but I didn´t like this 737NG audio training! The narrator´s voice seems computerized - at least in my system. But at 15 euros some may like it since it is inexpensive. November 22, 201114 yr I loved FS2Crew for MD-11. A single pilot in an airliner isn't very real, so I like having a copilot. I'll definitely be getting it for NGX. Preferably the voice control edition. Chris Hicks
November 22, 201114 yr I voted Yes as i intend using Fs2Crew for the Copilot and then also get MCE to interact with RC4. The reason i want to use both is because from all of the demo videos i have watched (and i think i've watched them all), Fs2Crew is far more realistic voicewise than MCE which i find a little robotic. Having said that, it seems MCE is a great tool as voice command where ATC is concerned. Anybody out there who is using both is welcome to correct me if this is not so.Regards, Rick Hobbs

November 22, 201114 yr Author Did you tried VoxATC? Its real good except for the voicesAs I understand it and I know the developer, you can change to the 'AT&T' voice ,pack if you want more realism? Dave Taylor

However, the general response though has been quite positive, and we'll be doing more CBT's in the future since enough people seem to like the idea of a very low-cost CBT that is very simple, quick and accessible. The narrator is not a computer. He's a real-world 737 Captain. For switch locations, the narrator follows the cockpit posters and starts in the top left corner of each poster (similar pattern to a flow).Cheers, B. November 23, 201114 yr Commercial Member In case any of you are wondering what the status is with FS2Crew for the NGX...The program is basically done, but we're just waiting on the SDK. Everything works, but without the SDK, the FO essentially has his hands tied behind his back. He can't flip switches.FS2Crew for the NGX be 'button' and 'voice' control capable. So if you prefer 'Button' control over Voice control you won't be left out, and vice versa. But please don't bug PMDG for the SDK... we've been waiting patiently for 18 months for the NGX, waiting a bit longer wont kill anyone. Here's two screen shots of FS2Crew for the NGX, one shows the new Config Manager (which also handles the 'Button Control' version', and the other shows the Voice version during Takeoff. November 23, 201114 yr Looks awesome Bryan, I hope once the sdk is out you pull a few all nighters and get this out asap, I'll start a coffee and redbull fund.
November 23, 201114 yr Looking forward to it Brian. I got the ifly version and that blew me away. Sure makes departures and approaches a lot less laborious. Will there be bumps and rattle sounds during taxi/take off?
