Just had first flight and am very impressed. I believe this ranks very close to PMDG quality. The included manuals are very well done and easy to understand. The only negative I see is lack of a wing view.

This is a brilliant addon and an absolute must have....seriously. The documentation and especially the quick start up guide by Nick Peterson is an absolute gem...the best I've ever seen. I really like this aircraft!!! Great Job!

Ugh if only someone flew these in the US yet. Growing up the Avro was one of my favorite planes when I would see them back in the good old days at MKE in the Northwestern livery. Just something about a small plane with 4 engines that gets to me.

How are the FPS compared to NGX?

 

I'm seeing 10 frames per second better than the NGX. Can't wait to have a bash with full blown REX Essentials weather.

 

It's lovely, this guy is going to get lots of use for sure. Love the steep approach capability.

Does anyone have a performance FPS comparison to the JF BAE146? I'm still deciding which version is the one to get. On paper QW seems the better of the two but perhaps more of a systems demand.

JF is a CLS product, that's saying enough about it. Good exterior model, basic systems. Even the "FMC" addon is lite and GPS based, very very limited.

I have always been intreged with the Avro/146 since I flew one back in 2000 when QF operated them.

 

I think this might be something for me to try inbetween PMDG 737 and awaiting the NGX. How is the FMC? Is it fully functional or limited?
