Qualitywings Avro for FSX released!

Featured Replies

Doh! It is a 4 engine jet... What was a I thinking! Sheesh!

:P

A serious Q. Now I understand why not many people would want to have 4 jet engines (even 4 turbo props for that matter) on a small aircraft?

It would get expensive very fast.

Its absolutely a very nice airplane. VC is very sharp and also the exterior model. Nice FPS, I get a couple of more FPS than with the PMDG 737. You can hop in, start with the engines running, load a flightplan in the FMC (I import a flightplan from fsbuild), and go. Or you can start with cold &dark and do all the the necessary actions to start the plane. Very handy tutorial with the manual. The plane reacts very nice on the stick, and it is a nice challenge doing steep approaches such as London city airport.

Don' t wait any longer you will not regret it!

It's actually more like 5 APUs.

:LMAO:

Very impressive exterior modelling, and VC,including comprehensive systems modelling.

Did my first flight last night, and loved every second of it. The manual is great and provides a great step by step if you are starting "cold & dark".

Superb product! Purchased it this evening.

This is my first QW aircraft and I am beyond impressed with the quality of the total package.

Hats off and congratulations to the entire QW team!

Back to flying her!

Just got it as well. I'm a big QW fan from the 757 and I like this product as well. I think the 787 is going to be really great. There were actually a couple suggestions I made about the 757 that ended up in the RJ :P

One problem I am having that I experienced on my very short and crude test drive - I can't get the gears to retract for the flaps to move. I am sure I am missing something in the hydraulics arena. If anyone has an idea, let me know.

Anyway, their 757 got a bad rap in the beginning and while I can understand why someone that owned the CS version wouldn't buy the QW version, those that don't have a 757 and want one should really consider the QW757. You can feel QW in this release just as you can with the 757. Both are great and I am looking forward to the 787 and the 757SP3.

Resistance was futile... Looking forward to some short hops around Europe, which I have done very little of in FSX.

This is my favorite payware airliner add-on in FSX.

Can anyone with Saitek gear and SPAD confirm if it all works? Does the multi panel work with the QW autopilot etc?

Also anyone with multi crew experience - have you been able to get voice control working for this plane? I suppose if one of these work the other will.

Also how does the FMC work with FSBuild? Which format do you choose on the list is it just FSX format?

Thanks

Is there an alternative viewpoint from the vc so the yoke isn't in your way when looking at the ND? In real life you look from a higher angle up. Also would really love a TNT repaint for the -300

Hello

There is a click spot on the yoke to lower it in the same manner as the NGX

Hello

I have all of my Goflight gear working perfectly through Fsuipc mouse macros so if those are useable with the Saitek gear then you should be ok.

It uses the QW 757 export format and it also shares the same navdata.

It will load the .rte file that Fsbuild saves from \FSX\Qualitywings\FlightPlans\ as a company route

or for those without a planner it will pull in whatever you have loaded into the FSX planner.

I have the Saitek yoke and 2 tq's. I have alt,speed,vs...mapped to switches on the tq. They all seem to work.
