First time I've ever had a problem buying a product!

 

When I run the Setup.exe, I get all the way through the purchasie until the final bit, then a message pops up:

 

"Your order could not be approved because of the following reason:

 

<¨DOCTYPE html PUBLIC"-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict //EN" "http://www.w

 

Please check your information and try again"

 

Have bought several products using the Flight1 E Commerce tool, but have never had any problems before.

 

I have no idea what the above error means, and a Google search throws nothing relevant up.

 

 

Can't get any help from the QW forums because you have to register the product to be able to view any forums - the one forum I can view says that support will be limited due to staff travel until 30.08.12. Have submitted a ticket to Flight1, but so far I'm frustrated!!!

Is anyone having any issues with click spots mainly on the overhead panel? I have to use the 2d panel to switch any of my avionics switches. Not working in the VC. Also when turning any knob such course and alttitude on the MCP it is so slow when using the mouse. Any way to speed them up?

Hi for # 1 no all switches and knobs at VC works fine for # 2 yes they are so slow I switch to 2DP for faster input

Use right click will change altitude by 1000 and course by increments of 10 etc.

I just caved in and purchased as well

 

Matt - I thought I had the same problem as you with clickspots, but it seems that I don't. I think on my first flight I was trying to click switches that are not modelled, haven't read the manual yet

This is off topic, but.......there is a slight discrepancy with your signature. It looks like the 777 is about to turn to the right and line up with the runway. However, I am almost certain that there are no taxiways on that side of runway 27R at London Heathrow (which I am assuming is the airport depicted). If it isn't Heathrow, then please ignore me :smile:

I can't take any credit for the artwork, that's Al's work so you'll have to ask him, at least 1 in every 36 airports will have a Runway 27, some of them might even be on the right

Yep. Just remember that you have to click on the DISPLAYS for those, not the actual knobs. And you have to click (left or right) in the left half of the display for decrements, and in the right of for increments. Kinda weird but works OK once you get used to it.

Right click.

That was easy enough. Thanks guys! On my second flight and all click spots on the overhead are working now. Didnt work on my first flight. Kinda wierd.
