Well....what can I say: I love this plane, the quality is outstanding and I relly love the ability to fly and land on almost every airfield, landed today in CYAZ Tofino, CYCG Castlegar, LSZA Lugano etc etc. alot of fun! :-)

 

I do have some CTD issues some times when loading the aircraft or when changing fullscreen to windowed (alt-enter)

And according to their Facebook, the paintkit is out now. Looks like a great plane!

Same here. The problem has been reported on their forum but as usual, staff and testers cannot reproduce it.

I would like to know if the Thrust Modulation System is fully modeled or not. And if it is, is it simplified or eliminated in "lite" mode?

Also anyone with multi crew experience - have you been able to get voice control working for this plane? I suppose if one of these work the other will.

 

 

I have had it working fine apart from a few mishaps eg Seems to not set flaps down when asked but will set to up. Although i've not had the chance to test it on a full flight yet but initial workings seem ok.

It uses the QW 757 export format and it also shares the same navdata.

It will load the .rte file that Fsbuild saves from \FSX\Qualitywings\FlightPlans\ as a company route

or for those without a planner it will pull in whatever you have loaded into the FSX planner.

 

Mad dog, what is your current version/built of of FSBuild? I always had a problem with it updating to the latest exe as the updates were always scattered all over FSBuild's forum.

I would like to know if the Thrust Modulation System is fully modeled or not.

I'd say that, from the manuals, you only have the later Avro models so far. So there's a full autothrottle whereas the to come 146 models should/could feature the TMS.

Just picked her up, and WOW.

Yup! Me too, you're right fellas, she really is a great bird to fly. I've been looking around for quite a while, wanting someting smaller, but a plane still interesting enough to fly around some of the small routes and this fits the bill perfectly. I have to admit I have not yet had time to read the manual, as I only got her last night and wanted to take her for a quick spin, I'm sure it's something simple, but although all the AP functions worked correctly, for some reason the AT didn't work. As I said, this may be something to do with just jumping straight in, but I hope it's normal and not a bug.
