I have yet to see the combination of tupperwa.. and those signatures which mainly tell you everything, even the most liked beer, of the person, but makes it hard to find the actual text that was posted in between all that information.

We can't be that far away though. :P

I suppose it's not as pointless as those signatures that used to list all the hardware and add-ons?

That's useful for tech questions. Blabbing about where your post has come from is not useful to anyone.

If it's a technical question those can be put in the body of the post - They're pointless otherwise.

Funny. I just did a google search to see what is involved to turn this message off out of curiosity and was amazed to find that there are a bunch of forums and users that are really annoyed with it, LOL. Guess it's true, bad publicity is still publicity, nice to know I am not alone in finding it utterly annoying..

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Thanks for this topic, it's by far the funniest I've read here.

I don't like those Tapatalk signatures either, but to be honest I stopped reading them at all.

Almost as bad as those "proud FTX supporter" / "future pmdg owner" adverts huh?

Don't worry, in a few years time a patent troll will put a stop to that "feature" after suing everyone that uses it.

I'm quite used to being called an old fart, but there are several things in modern life that irritate me. At the top of the list(at the moment) is the added 'signature' in forum posts like so:

"Sent, walking down the High Street/from Starbucks/office, from my X7200 Multifaceted smartarse iPhone using Tapatalk V26.5"

Please tell me I'm not alone. Who cares where the post comes from?

You OLD fart.....from one old fart to another..LOL

I never really noticed it till now Ron. But that could be because I dont know what taptalk is , have never sent or received a "text " message and do not own a fondle slab. I have had the same samsung wireless phone for the last 5 years...... it makes calls and rings when someone calls me and that is all this old fart needs it to do.
