October 8, 201213 yr hello, I can confirm this; I just did a test it works ok! salu2 Fdovillamil GCLP Joop H.
October 8, 201213 yr Did anyone try Navlost.eu ? You can get up to 100 metar or TAF reports per ICAO identifier (and one can specify several identifiers in 1 query) : i.e. a query for the last 100 metars ending at 2012-10-08 22:00:00 for LFMP - LFBO - LFPG A cool tool ;-) KInd regards Jean-Paul I7 8700K / Fractal Design Celsius S24 watercooling / ASRock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard / Corsair 32GB 3200mhz DDR4 / INNO3D iChiLL GeForce GTX 1080 Ti X3 / Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 PCIe NVMe 500GB / Seasonic-SSR-850FX power supply / Fractal Design Define R5 Black case / AOC Q3279VWF 32″ 2560x1440 monitor / Benq GL2450 24″ 1920x1080 monitor / Track-IR 4
October 8, 201213 yr Hello Jean-Paul Great! I have immediately bookmarked this site. This site is, I think, a good solution for mad dog! salu2 Fdovillamil GCLP Joop H.
October 8, 201213 yr Well, I did buy the program. It does indeed do what it says it does. Compliments to Opus for a very good job. I'll be using this quite a lot I suspect. Thanks for the info here
October 9, 201213 yr Commercial Member We will be upgrading our METAR file import option so that you can replay historic weather, perhaps even introducing a seperate option which is easy to configure. Navlost.eu is a really useful site, thanks JP for the recommendation. Cheryl
October 9, 201213 yr Another question: what about turbulence inside clouds and wake turbulence when landing? Are they simulated in OPUS? James Goggi
October 9, 201213 yr Commercial Member Yes we have cloud turbulence but don't have any immediate plans to implement wake turbulence.
October 10, 201213 yr Yes we have cloud turbulence but don't have any immediate plans to implement wake turbulence. For this to work do I need to un-check "disable turbulence and thermal effects" in FSX? I did couple of flights with the NGX in some bad weather but didn't see any turbulence hitting the plane while flying through the cloud layers.. Is this random? And do I need to check anything in FSUIPC (registered)? Thanks.. Regards, Martin Martinov / VATSIM 1207931
October 10, 201213 yr Im in a flight now and have good cloud turbulence I have disabled accufeel as a precaution but would like to know if Accufeel and Opus can be run together. great product by the way, the cloud structure is to real! ZORAN

The DHM effects are associated with camera views, have you set them up? If you still are not seeing DHM effects you may need to do the following; Right click on the your OpusFSX SERVER desktop shortcut icon (C:\OpusFSX\FSXSERVER.EXE) and select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, tick the checkbox to "Run as Administrator". Also set this option for FSXCLIENT.EXE on your optional client PCs. would like to know if Accufeel and Opus can be run together. We haven't tried Accufeel here but you could try it with the aircraft movement options turned off and see if that works, let me know. We will be upgrading our METAR file import option so that you can replay historic weather We are now looking to implement a historic weather option where you specify the required period of interest and OpusFSX automatically downloads the weather for you. Regards Cheryl

Regards Cheryl Excellent weather, camera, historic data. If you also make the briefing reports for flight plan wind averages, temps etc then we're done! Competition is dead!!! October 10, 201213 yr If you also make the briefing reports for flight plan wind averages, temps etc then we're done! Well, if not, you can always wait for PFPX.
