October 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member I must say this is looking like it will be one very, very nice add-on! http://www.orbxsyste..._60#entry438256 Cheers Paul Golding
October 19, 201213 yr It looks like everything I was hoping it would be. And the "same tech as used in NZ" comment bodes well for performance on my system. John
October 19, 201213 yr I now need to build a new PC for FSX. Not necessarily. The autogen technology they introduced in the New Zealand series runs really well on my 3 year old system. What would be nice is if this new UK series was compatible with VFR Generation X Photographic scenery. But it probably won't be

My signature is now very misleading, i sold this PC at the beginning of the year haha. Simon Roberts
October 19, 201213 yr Is the technology they used in NZ different than in Australia? I had the Australia stuff but it killed my machine. Eric
October 19, 201213 yr Is the technology they used in NZ different than in Australia? I had the Australia stuff but it killed my machine. I also had the AU product but it also killed my FPS so I just use their NZ series now which allows me to peg the FPS at 30 all the time (in DX10). So I guess it is different to the older product.
October 19, 201213 yr That first shot in particular really does 'feel' like home. Looking forward to this, as I'm sure most, if not all UK simmers will be. Neil Burgess
October 19, 201213 yr Not just UK simmers! It's great to see them expanding to the rest of the world. This'll keep us busy for years. Then I wonder where next in Europe? Maybe France! Simmo W, Melbourne, Ozhttp://www.youtube.com/user/id5556
October 19, 201213 yr Looking forward to this, as I'm sure most, if not all UK simmers will be. Not me. I hate repetitive landclass.
October 19, 201213 yr England will come under the FTX Central "Europe" region and you won't be able to do NYC to London for instance; you must choose to be in either North America or Europe when you depart and deal with the trade-off with having incorrect autogen at the destination. Uh... No comments. October 19, 201213 yr I didn't even know they were doing this until today. It looks great! I'll be buying... Not too concerned about the trans Atlantic switching thing. I only fly in Europe really. The switching and restarting the Sim must be a big problem for people IVAO and Vatsim though?
October 20, 201213 yr Seems like a exciting new area to explore in Europe. Hopefully their England scenery will be compatible with the existing UK2000 and Aerosoft sceneries. Flo Florian
October 20, 201213 yr You don't have to switch regions - the sim still works outside the selected region. It's that autogen from one region will be seen in the other. Set it to the destination region because you're less likely to notice the details on departure. If that's the price, then so be it. Re performance, I can max settings in NZ, which cripples me trying to fly around Perth for example. Mike Dryden
