Who's going to watch Flight

Been waiting for this movie for a while. I hear the reviews are positive and Denzel's performance is exceptional.

Definitely. I saw Denzel on David Letterman this week to promote it. Looks awesome.

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Oh yes. The Dez is a ridiculously great actor. The Plan is Flight on friday, and 007 on sat.

I wonder... if clips from this movie can be used to spoof MS FLIGHT.... OH NO YOU DIDN'T! JJ!

Me too.

Cheers,

Gonna watch it for sure! And 007, too

Florian

Are they being released this weekend?

Looks like the sort of movie I might watch in a few months on cable.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

It's probably not what most people think, the movie does center around the crash, but mostly Washington's character problems. I didn't like the cause of the crash as it was pulled from a real crash about 24 years basically verbatim.

When I see aviation movies, all I usually see is this:

Admittedly Denzel is a great actor though, so that's managed to keep my interest in the film up.

Sorry, Rónán, but flipping all switches is exactly what the simmer's handbook describes as the most appropriate action. -_-

Very emergency checklist

1) Stay calm.

2) Pause that sim.

3) Unpause and do something. Yes, something. Exactly!

Alaska Airlines 261, that's the story to that film. They've all crashed but the crew made a wise decision to stay away from populated areas.

I could imagine a very good movie coming from that script and I don't think that every good movie needs a good ending, but one which leaves people thinking about this and that. You know, tension from the dialogues, not from the effects. Desperation and logics, decision making, taking responsibility.

But, let me guess, the target audience didn't appreciate that setup. ^_^ So it's the 'from loser to hero' script again. Either way, I think I will watch it sooner or later.

Was going to go today to see it but went to a Raptor Bird show instead.

Be curious to hear what people in here think of this movie.

No spoilers please.
