  A horrific shooting at a Connecticut elementary school Friday has left as many as 27 people dead, including 18 children, the Associated Press reports.
  CBS News also says 27 people have died. Other news outlets put the death toll at 20.
  
  

Wow- that is shocking. I give my best hopes to the families going through this horrible ordeal.

Latest reports on BBC are that 27 are confirmed dead, including 18 Children.... :(

 

What possesses anyone to commit such acts. :(

I just heard that the shooters were 2 brothers and the first 2 kills were their parents that worked at the school, omg what is going on!

Sad to hear about this news. Words can not express the sorrow of this terrible tragedy.

Horrific! What else can be said? How can any condolences, sympathy or empathy be enough to help those poor students and families that have been so utterly crushed by such a insane act. It breaks my heart.

I heard the other brother was in another state at the time. So just one shooter.

I live 2 states away, so sad bless those familys dealing with this tragedy.

Sadly this will not be the last act of this nature and it will not get any better until guns are not available at all........
