FSDreamteam CYVR Vancouver is out!

Yeah get used to the heavy clouds cause its rainy season here and they like to hang around alot. But this would be more GPU intensive than anything.

Hmmm OOM's worst nightmare if you've got Orbx lol

Not wanting to blame any dev, may it be Orbx, FSDT or FSAddon. But your thoughts get doubled here when someone is already running a combo of some scenery. Must admit that, if there was a detailed KSEA rendition, I would think/fear 'oom' too. :Worried: Means with my addons running and coming in with detailed planes.

Well, no doubt that this is a beautiful airport though. The shots look amazing.

The scenery looks fantastic, but I've tried making a flight from CYVR using the PMDG 737NGX, and I get an out of memory error usually within a minute. I don't have this problem with other the other FSDT airports. When I use default FSX airplanes, this problem does not happen. I've tried four times already.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

There should be four files:

ADE_FTX_PNW_CYVR_Vancouver_Intl.BGL

ADE_FTX_PNW_CYVR_Vancouver_Intl_CVX.bgl

FTX_PNW_objects_CYVR_Delta_PLC.bgl

FTX_PNW_objects_CYVR_PLC.bgl

I moved them to a backup folder and layered FSDT CYVR on top of ORBX PNW

I get texture bleeding even while removing these files and placing CYVR above...

It's always rainy season here! :P

I havnt been able to register it for some reason it keeps closing the register screen, but in demo mode, the airport is simply jaw dropping. Never seen such detail in an airport. Just WOW

Unfortunatly im at 3.7GB VAS a minute into finish loading and thats with my LOD back down to 4.5

FPS remain at around 23-25 but with QW 757. I think the NGX would put this over the top.

So far so good for me. I feel like one of the lucky ones. With the PMDG NGX, Orbx PNW and FSDT CYVR my frames are still very close to 30 and my system is really just average. I have yet to test this on-line or with AI traffic. With all of this I'm still hesitant to click the "purchase" button.

Samsung 750GB Sata 3.0 HDD

GeForce GTX680 2GB (Super Clocked)

6GB SDRAM DDR3

I'm testing the demo on mine with the 737 ngx and even captainsim's 777 no problems fps stay around high 20s even 30 I think my ut2 is at 50% for traffic I do have the orbx demo for pnw don't know if it covers this area.

Truly a magnificent representation of this beautiful airport, don't have any major problem yet. My only complain is the FSX default jetway, it really needs some improvements. I can only hope GSX will take care of that soon.

I am having some initial issues with the trial version. My FPS drop sharply on approach and I am getting lots of stutters and Nvidia Driver crashes...

Ben might have to turn some stuff down in your sliders, lot going on in this airport but it is a beauty dam fsx lol

Works well for me with ORBX PNW running. Looks amazing and much better FPS than I had anticipated. I have autogen set to "normal" whenever ORBX is activated -- I've always needed to do that.

I dont see very many default fsx jetways. Looks like the YVR ones. Maybe it didnt install right?

Sorry, I meant the default jetway motion (the ctrl + j method). It just doesn't move to the correct position of my pmdg 747.

This airport is actually very optimized. I really shouldn't be complaining that it actually USES my GPU. GPU usage was around 80-100% on approach.... These new FSDT airports are actually requiring powerful GPUs to keep the FPS up.

Yes Ben I actually overclocked my 680 a bit which I do not believe in but it actually helped, shouldn't have to OC 4 gig card oh well all in good fun.
