Waaaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaaaa! We want more! MORE! That's all I ever read in these update topics. I check to see if a team member has commented and I see this. If this was my part-time project, I would get so sick of it. I would just announce the product, stay quiet, mention all the features and pics a week before release, then release it. Everyone just needs to chill

Lol, I do want more. I want the plane. But I don't need the plane. Just tired of people whining and feeling like they're owed something

I agree. And amazingly enough that is PMDGs usual policy. And exactly that's why this one timer of 'let the previews begin' is a little unfortunate in my opinion. But OK, enough from my side here. Will go into quiet mode again like the last months and wait again.

Doesnt this fall into the same category as those high expectation movies which give a preview one year before its released?

 

We have a few good pic shots, and we know what the 777 looks like, anything more significant to that would be a video. I dont think theres a need for a we are so close speculation until we see the video preview/promo. Then I would say we are close. Until then, fly the MD11, because sadly the bird is dying in RW, and in PMDG world with a firm statement of no upgrades. Its your long haul bird right now, and its plenty capable. The F5 refresh to see if there is an update or release is getting somewhat worn out. lol

It's an interesting policy, on the one hand i completely understand it, you really don't want people spamming the forums complaining that the 3rd blade counter clock wise from the top of the engine is 0.00000001mm smaller than the others.

 

But if you start a topic with "Let the Previews begin", i would imagine that it's the start of the build-up, i dare say frenzy to release, instead the drip of updates becomes a drought.

 

Personally i am not as excited as i was for the 737, i'll still buy it, hell i'll buy it the second it appears; but i am somewhat disappointed with the trickle of news.

I think we're all pretty dissappointed by the lack of news and conversation about this project [note, conversation from staff just as important as official previews]. 

 

However, it has not even been a month yet so can we start being reallllly disappointed after the 15th of this month? 

Let's please all just calm down and not get too excited/on edge...

And the cycle continues...
