CPL IR ME

I was going to take flight lesson, had the money to do it, but bought a house instead.  At least my wife is happy.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

PPL 1970, Instrument Rating 1985.  Currently inactive as wife won't fly and boring holes in the sky became meaningless.  Now a sim pilot with a pit getting my kicks from flying real world procedures into interesting airports.

Cheers,

Jon

Ah! This thread just turned into jb747 Home cockpit thread. Cool! More pics and details please!!!

Private pilot, instrument rated. I enjoy simming as I can "fly" aircraft that I am not rated on, in places I will never visit in the real world, and if I want a dose of reality I can practice some IFR procedures in simulated IMC in a "single engine land" aircraft, with the sim location here in ehe Denver area.

ATP AMEL, Commerical ASEL ASES, 757/767 Type Rating, EMB 170/190 SIC Type rating. Happily employed flying. Why do I sim? I'm a geek and I love it. I fly pretty specific routes with my airline and it's neat to check out the world. I love the ability to go somewhere new before I actually fly there, and to fly retro equipment no longer around.
