I think this has something to do with it using its own external engine to calculate flight dynamics, so at this stage it doesn't seem to be compatible with FScaptain, Fspassengers, Air Hauler etc. 

 

Exactly right. Ole via Support told me exactly that.  If you are using an app or hardware like Flight Illusion gauges (FSUIPC), SAITEK Instrument Panel which depend on aircraft position, bank, pitch, turn, VS, etc... the primary six pack info, then we are out of luck. Ole did say that they may revisit this. IMO, they ought to do this right away..cause many of us depend on this.

 

For me, this is unusable...

Already tried that doesn't work. Clean install doesn't work. Default settings don't work. Reinstalling sound drivers doesn't work. It's just a bug that needs fixing.

 

Another issue I came across is that the Q400 doesn't report its position to Air Hauler. I made a flight but Air Hauler showed me as never having left the departure airport.

Look at mjc84.ini you can tweak sound settings ;-)

Can you kindly talk me into exactly how you do this, as at the moment I cannot steer her at all. I can see the tiller turn, and the pedals going in and out, but all she does is head straight. If I have to pay for registered FSUPIC on top of shelling £39.99, I reckon I will send this back.

Anyone else getting strange external view behavior with this aircraft?  My normal 'Spot' view fails to work correctly, but instead duplicates 'Locked Spot' view.

 

Also, sometimes when loading the Q400, as the flight opens, it 'jumps' off the tarmac, and thus starts gliding above the runway without power:-(  Very odd.

No blasting from me - reading through these (still just as an interested party, but not yet a customer) I think it's interesting that questions are being asked in both threads that have been answered multiple times.  Some people seem to be posting without reading what's been written already.  I know these threads get long, but...

Was I dreaming or did i read somewhere that it had a feature to load panel states? (I'm used to the pmdg ngx, doing  it  through the fms) I just want  it to be in a cold and dark state when I load her up, if possible.

I requested a refund from them so we will see what they say.
