Thats good to know. Let me get with M Q400 folks and their support forum to see if they can help me fix the FSX sending out the Attitude (Pitch and Bank information) first.

FYI: If you are a non European customer and buying via simMarket you will pay more than from JustFlight.  This is another EU crap, I used to be able to buy from simMarket and don't have to pay VAT tax.  FSimPilotshop upgrade policy is unclear.

parking brakes on

set the thrtlle to the DISK knotch and control lever to staqqrt%feather

start engine 1, (there is a rocker switch to go to 1 or 2, wait till the dilas move

start eng 2

parking brakes off. wait for the upper engine dils to register

move the control lever to full forward

adjust throttle as desired.

Seems the Majestic site is 'down' once again:-(  Although I do feel for them, it seems that yet again, a developer has vastly underestimated the popularity of their own product.  I'm happy they're getting good sales, but alas, it leaves us, the customer, without a support forum.

 

Anyone else getting strange external view behavior with this aircraft?  My normal 'Spot' view fails to work correctly, but instead duplicates 'Locked Spot' view.

 

Also, sometimes when loading the Q400, as the flight opens, it 'jumps' off the tarmac, and thus starts gliding above the runway without power:-(  Very odd.

Does hiting 'Q' twice bring them back?

I saw in another thread that loss of sound may be linked with using flight planner. Do you lose sound if you just load to starting airport without using flight planner? It may have to do with the external FDE.

Dougal you could have look at calibration and maybe some axis mixed up, when U use slew function and move the aircraft those it stops after pressing Y again ?

Try to use via the control panel the multimedia timer function instead of the queue timer.

Already tried that doesn't work. Clean install doesn't work. Default settings don't work. Reinstalling sound drivers doesn't work. It's just a bug that needs fixing.

 

Another issue I came across is that the Q400 doesn't report its position to Air Hauler. I made a flight but Air Hauler showed me as never having left the departure airport.

I think this has something to do with it using its own external engine to calculate flight dynamics, so at this stage it doesn't seem to be compatible with FScaptain, Fspassengers, Air Hauler etc.
