a pain to watch, not because of the plane (i LOVE the twin otter), but the presenter could have at least done some checklist checking and get familiar with the cockpit layout BEFORE starting the video. but still kinda fun anyway (luckily you can skip around the boring parts).

what bothered me was, the landings i saw and his crash landing with super low speed, there was no stall warning horn. i wonder if he was flying completely empty... in almost every single real life twin otter landing video i watched on youtube, they get the stall horn to sound around touch down.

i own and like the old aerosoft twin otter (still hoping there will be a discount for the new version for owners of the old version), and getting the stall horn to activate was also seeming unrealistically hard. maybe the flight dynamics were toned down for easier use?

Doesnt help when the guy hasnt even flown it prior. Seems hehas never flown turboprops before, watching the RPM at max, ITT in red waiting for an engine failure, than pop over to aerosft to write about this when i hear the alarm go off and the guy trying to figure our what happened, pop back still has second engine in red, hoping it too wont fail. well at least we know enfine faiures are in there. Nice plane. Not sure about the stall warning  but that doesnt mean the flight dynamics are not corerct just means it may not be configured. yet

Flying below VMC with an engine out and not even a stall didn't impress me. But I guess that's FS limitation.

Aerosoft ought to have vetted this video before letting this guy post it.

I am not the person in charge of all this things, but I have to say, that this "publicity" is more in the name of "fun".

This "publicity" was never meant to be professional, and is meant to be from a typical simmers POV.

No offense, but so you know the VMC of the Twin Otter?

It will VMC into a spin, the FDE for that has already been implemented and tested. I painted a nice beach with some white, yellow, and black paint recently on base to final VMC spin test.

Glad to know it does!

Fast forward to 4hrs and he's playing an RPG.

Seems he got bored with it.

What a terrible launch video. Was expecting some new sounds but sounds just like the old version. Maybe the original sounds were spot on perhaps?

Five hours? I did not last five minutes!

Surely people should do at least some familiarization with the topic before they churn out things like this. What a tedious video - I gave up with it after about fifteen minutes.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.
