Here's a tip:

If you don't want to spend $90 on it; don't buy it.

It's worth whatever the creator wants it to be worth, and, as according to market forces, what ppl are willing to pay for it. Same as anything else you buy.

Why come here and moan about it? The people here want to buy it or they wouldn't be here.

Thanks for your time,

Seems like most of the "moaning" is coming from those defending the price???

Funny paradox there, but think about it:

Would be be speaking at all if people weren't complaining?

Nice try!

My first payware ac was the LevelD. It took a good while to get use to. I got the NGX a few years ago and that brought me to a whole new level of simming. I was very impressed with PMDG. When I first heard that they were going to put out the T7, I could hardly wait. I knew it wasn't going to be 70.00. I was expecting more. 90.00 is a fair price for this product. It is not a toy or a game, its a simulation and a very involved and accurate one.

Thanks to all at PMDG.

This post started out with a question and a statement of what he felt it was worth. I didn't see any moaning until the defenders of the free-world came in moaning that folks where complaining.

yes, quite funny and entertaining to say the least.

Likely in response to all of the flaming it was getting on Facebook and around here...

So yes, rather funny indeed.

It's like everything in life. If you can't afford it, then you can't have it.

Is it worth it? To me, yes. To you? I don't know. It depends what your priorities are and what you can afford.

If it helps, this product is excellent to say the least.

So,Apple and PMDG are same in terms of global market?Great information you have there!  PMDG has never gone this high with any of there products .So it was surprise to see that from PMDG.

Not completly true. In 2008 i payed 89.99 for the md11 trought pmdg store. So the 777 is cheaper ;-)

Mostly a read only guy, but this price discussion got me thinking. My other hobby is model railroading. You want to see some insane prices, come over and try to get into that hobby as a beginner.

$90 bucks for a product that includes sound and based on a real jet is a steal. In order to get sound with your locomotive in my other hobby, get ready to pay $250 bucks or more. You want that really cool BNSF car you see in your hometown yard everyday. Get ready to pay $50 bucks or more for it.

If you think $90 bucks is too much. Just don't buy it, just like I did with these locomotives despite the fact I really wanted two or three for my layout.

Great paint scheme!

Back on topic... you could always do something novel (and the "greatest" economists can learn something here too...) which is SAVE UP! I know, radical idea.

That is the whole reason the world economy is in the trash - because everyone uses credit to buy everything RIGHT NOW, instead of saving and buying later when they can actually afford it. Economists/bankers talk of growth, but the infinite growth they seek requires infinite debt. The system is rigged to fail. It's a pyramid scheme (hint: you're not at the top). Don't fall for it.

Best regards,

Robin.

If your sim preference includes airliners, this and the NGX is where its at. I have both. Once I had bought the NGX and was familiar with its systems, it became the only choice among the 7-8 airliners I've paid for. Out of the box, they are both solid products. The same cannot be said of that other company (you know the one - you pay to do their beta testing).

At $90, this was a no-brainer. I will get a ton of enjoyment from it while learning a lot of the complex systems and interactions. That's a fantastic bargain if you ask me.

I'm proud to tell that this thing is worth EVERY single penny!!!

F***ing love it!!!
