Anything new on the update announced back on October 10th by Steve?

+1

Would be interesting to get some news - but no worries and misunderstandings please: The DX10 fix is great - nonetheless though i hope it to be continuously updated, therefore i am indeed also very much looking forward to any further news regarding possible updates.

Cheers, Christoph

Stevejp posted on 26.Oct.2013, that he probably needs another week for a DX10Fixer update.

You'll need the patches from FlyTampa and then you need to set the Legacy Shader slider in the DX10 Fixer Tool full to the left (to avoid boxy lights at night).

I have never used DX10 and I am actually very happy with DX9...very fast and smooth....no CTD...no OOM.....the only one thing I would really love to improve is stuttering on some addon airports when other traffic (online) is around...can I expect switching to DX10  and using the fixer to be the way to improve the situation ? I am seriously thinking to try DX10 but at the same time I am reluctant to move away from a set up with is almost completely satisfying without being sure of the result.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Just found out that the DX10 fixer V1.1, build 23, is appearantly downloadable on FSS.

The FSS download magnitude increased from 6.7 to 8.8 Mb.

Aahhh ... thanks for the heads-up! I installed it over the top of my old version. No problems so far.

Any ideas what changed? Apart from the type in the GUI ;-)

Love it.

Worth the money just for the cockpit shadows.

Agree!

That's just Skorna's opinion. Neither is a case of beer, nor a meal at a restaurant, nor a ticket to a baseball game, and a hundred other opinionated comments, particularly the baseless, negative, snide remarks that some people have when referring to DX10 or the Fixer.

No-one is forcing you to buy it.
