December 12, 201312 yr Hi Guys, Just a quick straw poll....... How many are now using Prepar3d 2 as their sole simulator? Dave
December 12, 201312 yr +1 here. I am migrating from fsx at this point. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
December 12, 201312 yr Commercial Member Will use FSX untill the P3D V2 stutters are resolved. www.supertrafficboard.com
December 12, 201312 yr I am 100% P3D, even with the annoying OOMs I'm getting and that will (hopefully) be resolved in the next patch.
December 12, 201312 yr P3D mostly at the moment. There may be a few times that I have to go back to FSX though.
December 12, 201312 yr Will use FSX untill the P3D V2 stutters are resolved. Agree 100% and to add, the loss of focus FPS with undocked windows issue is resolved. Oh and crappy AA is resolved.
December 12, 201312 yr 100% P3Dv2 as of last week. Rick Abshier 5900X | RTX 5070 Ti OC| 64 GB@3600 | India Pale Ale
December 12, 201312 yr P3D V2.0 Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
December 12, 201312 yr I see myself moving to V2 exclusively as soon as a bulk of add-ons are made V2 compatible. I do not want to use the migrator tool. So it would be 3 to 9 months from now....
December 12, 201312 yr Had it from day of release and I love it. Silky smooth with most FSX add-ons working well especially the photo scenery. This on an i5 2500k cpu, NVidia 6600ti GTX graphics card, 8gb ram running on Windows 7 64bit which is only a mid-range computer by current standards. This should be really spectacular when add-ons written specifically for Prepar3d are released.
December 12, 201312 yr I'll have it up and running on my machine in a couple weeks. It will not become my main sim until most current FSX add-ons (and new native add-ons) are officially converted and supported for the new platform. Like many have said there's nothing wrong with using both until P3d v2 is up to speed add-on wise. FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
December 12, 201312 yr I've completely abandoned FSX several times over the last couple of years. This time, I'm absolutely certain that I can make it stick. Rough edges and all, P3Dv2 is offering almost everything I want and it's already performing better than FSX. By the time 2.1 arrives (or 2.2, depending on how much progress is made with 2.1), I don't think I'll have a single major issue to complain about. And that's the really wonderful thing... we know those updates are actually going to happen.
