System Outage and Update

Glad you are back Tom.  I know you were probably insanely busy during the outage, however, it would have been helpful to post updates on the Avsim or your own Twitter feed.  I checked both and didn't see anything about the outage posted.

We were posting updates on our Facebook page. It is all there.

Without Avsim, I just could not figure out what to do at work to keep myself busy.  Glad you are back.

That was the most boring period of my life!

True, but at least nothing could distract me from studying for this semester's last exam - so the down time was just in time !

Thanks for your hard work to bring the system back online so quickly, Tom!

Btw OT but... my inquiring  mind provokes me to ask...

I found this site to check on down status:

As written it is set up for AVSIM checking but can be used/modified for any site to see if they are really down and since when

Yup, I used it to check on Avsim when it went down. I had also looked at other sites, looking for other users asking about Avsim, but except at Aerosoft it was remarkably quiet. Place will probably be stormed, today though.
