I always fly in full screen mode with vPilot, no problems

How do you toggle between FSX full screen and vpilot as with me it stays behind and I can't bring it up front while flying (unless I switch to windowed mode)?

Thx,

Ralf

Try typing in .com1 #frequency as a last resort

I don't, generally, need to interact with vPilot once I've connected to the network for the duration of the flight. But, when I do, I simply it right-alt+enter and put FSX in windowed mode and do what I need to do with vPilot and the hit right-alt+enter again to return to full screen mode.

I only started flying on VATSIM since VPilot release. I could never get the other ones to work. I run it on a dedicated second computer along with my other tools like PFPX, Aivlasoft, VatSpy etc etc. So I never need to make the main FSX window anything other than full screen. ASN runs natively on FSX machine but once set up no need to fiddle. I think vPilot is great and had no issues at all.

No problems here, much better than FSInn.

Waaay better than fsinn, no more crashes!

Does it work on a networked PC please? Is it just a matter of installing it on the networked PC? Also there is another software in development by vat sim Aswell isn't there, that will be more in depth tha vpilot? Thanks Wayne.

Does anyone know if the transponder correctly works with PMDG 777 and Vpilot?

E.g setting the transponder to C in the sim puts Vpilot to C also?

Yes it does, Alex

Hi Folks,

Been using it for a month or so.   The audio is way better, ATC, and the other pilots. I use 2 monitors, no problem with full screen. I did miss not having radar at first.

I uninstalled FSinn, after using for many years.

Cheers,

Jerry

I'm unable to change the com1 frequency with the aircraft (PMDG 777) VHF1 radio. VHF2 does work though.

Thanks, it worked!

There's a new utility out for vPilot that scans your FSX folder for AI aircraft, then automatically sets up the rules for Model Matching for your installed AI aircraft. It's called VMR Generator. http://www.lekseecon.nl/VMRGenerator.html  The thing I like about it is it creates a text file of all your AI aircraft that aren't using the proper ICAO aircraft codes, and a separate text file where you can put the corrections.  The next time you run VMR Generator it adds the corrected aircraft types to the rules for the correct models/liveries.

Thanks Larry, that is interesting indeed....does it work for WOAI sets as well or should we just continue with the VMR sets already in VPILOT?

All I have is WoAI models and it worked fine.  The MySimilarAirlineCodes text file additionally lets you add your VA prefix if it doesn't follow the ICAO standard.  So if one of my fellow DVA pilots logs into VATSIM using DVAxxxx instead of DALxxxx, vPilot knows to use the Delta models to represent him if I've added "DVA=DAL" in the MySimilarAirlineCodes file.
