Tried! and it worked!

I put the PMDG 737NGX in Barajas Aerosoft airport.. so I had in cockpit 16-19fps

Put the program hot loading and I set 29fps minimum where I have 30 maximun in FSX. It boosted FPS about 24-25fps in BARAJAS!!!

Then toke off and I was having 20-25fps with all the city, Orbx global.. ASN.. Dx10.

Then a msg appeared about 1minute left for fiber to turn off. It turned off and the frames becamed to 14 or so... in the middle of the air and the city...

Switched again (we have 5 oportunities of 5minutes each I think) and it boosted the fps up again to 25-30fps...

Of course when it boost up, it blur some textures, reduce the autogen.. etc.. but I have smooth flying.. I hope (didn't make more test) if FSX naturaly can have more than 30fps it would make again up all the autogen, sharp textures etc...

preparing my credit card...

Interesting.  At least there's a demo for this one, but I'll wait for additional feedback.  I am a little leary though as I believe FSPS is the same company that made some "Extreme FSX Booster" program a few years back that was a waste of about $16 bucks.

Newtons law.Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Yeah, that is the reason why I posted it here…. :p0310:

True.. and for me it is good if it is only in those areas where I had bad fps (bad performance airports) If it returns to its natural good looking I have outside those areas then no problem for having some blur textures around some of my bad fps airports to have smooth flying.

I think I am going to buy it.. but I want to hear also some feedback. There is no forum in the vendor page... and I am not rush to fly again... so will wait to read a little.

If it works smoothly - that may be a trade-off worth making..

One way of significantly increasing frames with the NGX is to turn off the 3D HiDef cockpit setting in the FSX/Aircraft section. Note this doesn't work with all aircraft, but works well with PMDG aircraft. It also works fairly well with the CS 757/767/and 777, except for the 757/767 FMC, where it makes it too blurry. It doesn't affect the 2D gauges though. It doesn't work with the Aerosoft AXE as the ND gets corrupted. (Doubles in size)

Interesting views. I ll stay around for a bit to answer any actual questions someone would have.

(While I'll disregard - naturally - comments like "  am a little leary though as I believe FSPS is the same company that made some "Extreme FSX Booster" , For example Microsoft is the same company that made Windows95, but we all have FSX the same time... )

There is no reason thought to say much, the results of the demo at your system can speak for themselves...

But your booster does work excellently on my system... That's why I have the booster, the booster for P3D, the simPhysics and the cabin crew from you.

And, do you have something like this that will work for P3Dv2 coming?

Why don't you guys offer a demo that can last a couple days or at least hours so we can test it on a full flight rather than in 5 minutes. Personally 5 mins 5 times is not going to get me to buy it, no matter how good the reviews are.

Great suggestion Ian.  Even a 30 minute trial time limit would be nice.  Maybe BD will sign off on the idea B)

- It does in thousands of different systems... The friend above must had a problem he never solved...

- We could, but we have to wait a bit for things to settle down at P3D first. With 2.3 version coming, it would be too risky to release something that may not work after a month...

Well that's an opinion and everybody have one.

According to the number of people that tried the demo , compared to purchases, EVEN WE are impressed (the product is out just some hours)... So , that's it (about the demo) maybe you will be able to check it out fully at a friend or something.

Maybe if they get their activation issues sorted out. I reboot my PC and BAM, all FSPS products lose their activation.  I have never seen anything like it.  I must have emailed them 10 times about having it reactivated, I am not saying they didn't help me out when needed, it's the simple fact I have to continuously do it..  I own many other payware add ons, never have they been an issue. I am computer savvy, as you can see in my sig.

Activation issues? Please don't make general assumptions that may disorientate people...

The average support request rate (regarding reactivations) per customer is 0.04 requests per year.

That is translated to no problem at all at the 95% of customers... And we are reaching a 6 digit number in unique customers...

There are some people indeed  ,( you may be a case), where something in their pc-rig mess with FSPS activation system and may have 10, 20 or30 requests per year. But they are the absolute exceptions on the rule that system is working nicely, and we almost know them by name (such rare cases they are) ...

With that being said, I am not saying it's a bad product. But if things aren't brought into light, they don't get resolved. It's not a deal breaker but a slight nuisance. Always with 12 hours it's resolved.

Thanks

I happen to agree totally with Ian's suggestion. He didn't ask for anything unreasonable - just a chance to give the product an adequate trial. IMHO your response was rude and dismissive.  I hope this doesn't reveal the general attitude your company has toward the folks who keep you in business. Negative first impressions are difficult to overcome. It might be a good idea to drop the rudeness and engage in a bit more pre-sales courtship with potential customers.

To assess your product's advertised effectiveness during different phases of flight (high quality airports, complex aircraft, detailed surface scenery, REX clouds, etc.) requires a longer demo period. Five 5-minute trials just won't allow that, and it certainly wouldn't be enough to convince me to shell out $30. And company spin will only capture a segment of potential sales. Why not offer something like 2-3 hours? You may get more takers if people can actually experience the utility's benefits for their specific types of flying. Either that or, if you really stand behind your product, offer a money-back guarantee. FYI, it's called "customer care."

I'll try the demo but wait for a you tube video or an indepth review to see if there are any issues, then you will have my money :)  I wish you the best tho.

5min testing - that is really nothing to say if to buy or not. In our Audio Workstations we can test Plugins from any developer for at least 14 days with full function. Actually I think you sent people to pirate bay if the want to do proper testing. But to be fair you are not the only one with such demo modes in the FS world.

Well said.

I agree that everyone has one opinion. Maybe the company has one that was completely different than the most users in this forum, and its not so good.

I almost give it a try.

Hi BD,

Will this new program run together with FSX Booster 2013?  The booster really helps with fsx on my system.
