December 8, 201411 yr I installed it and can't tell a difference. I know it installed correctly because I can see the files in my effects folder. Maybe I need to rename the stock p3d effects files? Post a pic if you can in snow ZORAN
December 8, 201411 yr A few pictures or a video with rain effects from VC would be greatly appreciated. Thinking about getting this but I want to see what it looks like in P3D first. Thanks!
December 8, 201411 yr Will do. I'll get one for you tomorrow after work. I know it isn't working correctly because it still looks like I'm flying through Star Wars. I just noticed that my Airbus a319 is producing 2 different contrails simultaneously.... Orman
December 8, 201411 yr Do the ground effects work now? So, for example, engine jet blast and rain/snow wheel spray effects? [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
December 8, 201411 yr I downloaded the new product ZIP file but later noticed the product can be updated (or Uninstalled) via their original installer panel (screenshot). So I just did the P3D Update from the panel.I did not see all the effects in P3D folder as is in the originally installed FSX effects folder ...Also the installer panel shows the P3D "rain effect" grayed out for the new version 1.2.0.7 BTW, their manual for version 1.2.0.6 also shows the P3D rain effects grayed out.Do you guys see the same thing? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
December 8, 201411 yr Is this addon dangerous for framerate? Nope at least for me. i still use the FSX effects of PrecipitFX as im not at home to update. But i didnt experience any frame drops. Greetz MJ My youtube blog________________________Prepar3D v2.5/v3
December 8, 201411 yr Do you guys see the same thing? Hi Vaughn, just installed on P3D and, indeed, same results here. Although the rain and snow looks worlds better than default, there are no other discernible effects. I will take it up over on their support and see what the answer is. Mario Di Lauro
December 9, 201411 yr The rain in P3D (even though supposedly still the FSX version at this stage) is a lot more realistic but the snow in the latest update looks just like static on a TV screen and to me is totally unrealistic and unusable. I also find the installer confusing and as half-baked as the rest of the rest of it IMO. Still the developer seems very genuine and I'm sure things will get better in time. He aptly uses the word 'experimental'. I'm not into contrails so can't comment on that aspect. I am glad I purchased it though, just for the rain as this is the feature we encounter the most. Especially if you're flying in Britain ... Gareth Wilkinson LEAL Costa Blanca, SPAIN
December 9, 201411 yr This program doesn't fix the dual contrail issue with P3D (4 total with a twin engine jet), it just adds a nice texture to the second set . Ryan Ryan

In P3D version its not a complete product as stated on Their website - which is fine with me as I am happy it has been released early so I can enjoy the great effects it currently offers - hang in there it will finished Rich Sennett

Now I don't mind if it rains or snows. Looks great. Mario Di Lauro
