August 18, 20169 yr What I wasn't aware of was that this was a long project in the making... I don't know who "Ozzman1997" is over at FSDev but apparently he started modelling the CL60 in 2012? Whew. Still the modelling looks very very nice and it's a great thing that the avionics/systems/coding is in ES' hands now | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 18, 20169 yr Yup, quality takes time...honestly we want them out of our dev hanger more than anyone else and we are NOT sitting on our hands.

Still the modelling looks very very nice and it's a great thing that the avionics/systems/coding is in ES' hands now I never purchased an Eaglesoft addon because I discovered them in my FSX days, and by then the textures and models didn't appeal to me - I heard the nicest things about their systems though. With a top notch modeler on the team, I'm pretty sure the bird will be epic. On my list for sure.
August 18, 20169 yr Author and it seems it might be some time before any of these amazing looking products RTM. What's RTM?

Looks even better now though...... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
August 18, 20169 yr If the upcoming Eaglesoft products are on par with or exceed the C-X v2 (I'm not referring to graphics) I will buy. I'm using p3d. Dave
August 21, 20169 yr How do you come to this -WIN-WIN conclusion ? If you charge a premium product at an affordable price (ex $60), how are you getting a return on your significant additional development investment ?? The aircraft addon market is small,, you're not going to sell nearly enough units to make up for that sizable investment. What is the main objective of a company? Some people said 'Win money' and it is not completely wrong, but it is more complex than that. The real objective is maximize the revenue as I said in my last message. If you have a business running with the philosophy you wrote...You are losing money pal. If you put a High price tag because you need to recover a high investment...Maybe you will recover it, or not. But surely you stop earning money and if the renevues does not cover the investment, you are losing money. This philosophy has sense from the amateur* developer side....But the revenue, the decision of buy comes not from the developer but from the customer. *A developer who does not know about economics. He lose money and finally go out of business ( he find a business where he makes more money or he go to bankrupcy). The key of all this thing is that FS Addons market has a very highly elastic demand...What's meaning this? changes inthe price tag (P) vary a lot the number of units sold (Q). There are also some mechanisms to maximize the renevue, amateurs only know one, make discount sales. And of course, sometimes it is not possible use all mechanisms. Maixmizing the revenue means make largest the rectangular area (Q, P). Visually is not clear, but the largest rectangular area is not in the extremes of the graphic. How you maximize the profit? Studying first to understand the mechanics of a free market and later analizing real data. This a very complex topic so for further information, enroll in any 'Massive Online Open Course' about this topic. Also it is good see what are doing the people who knows about that. Aerosoft and Majestic software are two developers which know about economics. Because Aerosoft is a big shop and not and in-development house, there are a lot of sales policies which not apply for a developer, in this case Majestic is more clear to see a good sales policy. We have the C560 and C605 information in our Support Forums, our Face Book, and eventually on our Main Website. We can say that we don't do so called "Bait and Switch" and $60.00 won't come close... Support Forums: Only visible for registrered users. A lot of potential customers are not able to see the forums. Facebook: Its good as a complement to your own channels...Keep a non own channel as the main channel....It is strange. A lot of people do not use FB...so we are missing a lot of info, info that you want to reach us, I guess. Main Website: Finally I reach the preview page...It is hidden in the footer. Only screens, no info about these projects. IMHO, Website or Forums must be the main channel for incoming projects (in order to establish an Hype). Good luck Ron. I hope that these new projects will be a complete success! Tomás Fabada Castellana

August 21, 20169 yr Oh look... another expert. Thank the stars! We're saved! Typical childish attiude of an ignorant. He made a question...I answer it. He make a very basic question, so I suppose that he is not an expert. I tried to get him some info in order to help him. Sorry Ed but we are not experts in anything, do you? I always learn something new from other who spent his time explain me concepts that I do not know...And I spent my time helping others. Thankfully there are still good people. Sorry for you Ed, but we will continue to share knowledge. P.S: maybe you think that 'amateur developer' is denigrant...Nopes Ed. But if you feel that you are an amateur developer...I mean that you feel that you are losing money...You can left this childish defensive attitude, be smart and productive and make what do you need or feel to improve your renevue. August 21, 20169 yr We will not indulge in this discussion as the subject has been beaten, and rebeaten, ad infinitum. Products built to a high standard command a higher price than do products built to a lower standard and that is historically accurate in any market. The simple fact is that folks desire high standard products and are willing to "pay the freight" for products that meet their "demands".

August 21, 20169 yr if you have a business running with the philosophy you wrote...You are losing money pal. If you put a High price tag because you need to recover a high investment I can only assume you didn't read what I wrote very well. I did not say 'recover' the investment I said 'return' on investment (ROI). Since you obviously have a economics book somewhere I don't think I need to explain the difference to you. Really if you compare the FS addon market to the automobile industy there are some similarities. Premium cars have a much higher price than standard cars, they tend to have more features and functions ,and they take longer to manufacture than standard cars. But there's absolutely no way a Ferrari would be the price of a Toyota. Sure they'd sell a lot more cars but, they'd get a terrible return on their investment. The key of all this thing is that FS Addons market has a very highly elastic demand.. And how do you know this ? what is your basis for this claim of highly elastic demand for the FS addon market ? Everything I know about the FS addon market (from my years of experience) , indicates the demand is not highly elastic. So I'm very interested how how you come to such a different conclusion.
August 21, 20169 yr I feel like i'm back in my economics class in college. Keep it up guys, this is entertaining. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
August 21, 20169 yr I feel like i'm back in my economics class in college. Keep it up guys, this is entertaining. Actually it's not really entertaining at all as the subject matter is the C605. No wonder a search on AVSIM returns screeds of garbage. Cheers Steve Hall
