So far all I could accomplish is setting up EZDOK cams. I can't get the yoke to hide nor my GF TQ6 to work with the throttles. I was able to use the keyboard to control the throttles and lift of. But, since my throttle quadrant is not working with this addon, it has to be grounded.

The only other airplane I ever had an issue with the throttle was the Airbus. It took payware FSUIPC & a LUA script to get it to work.

I want to get this resolved so that I can do a flight.

You need to read the manuals / forum

1) yoke is hidden by clicking the speed placard above the MFD

2) You need to load a default aircraft first and then switch to the CRJ or things like hiding the yoke throw a wobbly.

3) If using TQ6 im assuming you are also using FSUIPC. If so, you need to look at the throttle dropdown on the config program. (not the EFB 'DAVE' in the cockpit)

Doesn't work. Just makes the yokes 'flicker' briefly.

Wow.

You have to load a default aircrafdt first and then switch to crj

I'm not using FSUIPC and I don't plan to buy it again.

Well at least your yoke problem should be fixed.

I have the CH throttle quad and it works fine so I have no idea on the Go flight throttle. I was also under the impression that FSUIPC was almost mandatory for go flight

Negative on the yoke. It will not go away. I'll post in the support forums.

My yoke won't disappear either.

Other issues I had in two flight today;-

  • AP busting altitude (while descending).
  • Set V/S value not being held while descending in VS.
  • ILS: Was established on LOC, with GS shown on the PFD as armed, GS failed to activate and just remained armed.
  • Although TOD was shown on the MFD, I can't find anyway to see any cue for the advisory VNAV (a glidepath cue), despite going over the manuals for this (I might have missed it). Surely advisory VNAV isn't simply a TOD annunciation?

And I'll say (moan) again, that the lack of key assignments for the AP is a kiler for me - this is an aircraft where you're never away from the speed, altitude, VS and heading knobs and where you're also needing to keep an eye on your manual thrust control, espcially during descent and approach.   Fiddling around with the mouse constantly kept my eyes away from the instruments / outside visual.  Extremely subjective but I just didn't enjoy my flights with the CRJ because of this.  Very very odd that Hans has provided comprehensive custom key assignments for the MCDU buttons but not for the AP!

Unfortunately my CRJ is getting hangared until we have at least a LUA script to be able to assign some AP commands.

My personal opinion is that Mathijs has been recently flooded by a ton of complaints from customers about Aerosoft being extreeeeeemely late on all of their product releases, someone was supposed to get released 2-3 years ago..... etc...

Therefore they decided, to avoid QW 787 circus, to release the alpha version of the CRJ but it was a faulty move, now Aerosoft will postpone A320 and A330 to at least Q3 2019 in order to avoid to repeat the CRJ fault, sigh.

Hi Folks,

As far as autopilot controls go - if they issued a list of LVARS used - it would sure make scripting the controls to allow assignment in FSUIPC much easier...

Did you load a default AC VC first? It seems to work ok if you do that.

I have had it happen a couple of times trying to reload......

Mark, your certainly entitled to your opinion, but I would hope you'd at least have operated the aircraft before you came out so strongly against it.

I work at Aerosoft, and I my friend I can tell you that your concerns are unfounded. I've been flying the CRJ several times a week for over a year, and it's a terrific aircraft. That's coming from someone who works with numerous high-end flight sim developers, and I believe my reputation for honesty in my 30+ years in our community is untarnished.

The CRJ was delayed for exactly the reasons Mathijs shared, and I can personally tell you that he was 100% honest.

In my opinion, the CRJ was ready for release several weeks ago, but Hans wanted to fine tune a few things, fix a few late reported bugs, and check the operation on more systems - which is why more Beta Testers were added.

I wish you the very best, and hope you come to enjoy the CRJ as much as I have!
