There appears to be a high level of confidence at this point and given its development history, it wouldn't make sense to post such information otherwise. Common sense really....... I have absolutely 0 confidence in them that it will be released, but I hope they prove me wrong

As in any major release, there may very well be issues getting the product downloaded, etc; but I can ASSURE you of one thing. I have been flying the final release candidate in my P3D v3.4 and they (both the 700 and 900) are performing beautifully Quote
August 1, 20178 yr Author Good luck getting this thing downloaded on release. Let's see.... Quite possibly the most anticipated product EVER for the FSX/ESP platform. Beta testers telling us its a winner. This may give the Tesla Model 3 a run for its money. Hand over the keys please. Ilya Eydis, PPL, ASEL
August 1, 20178 yr I'm ready to have this CRJ. I was wondering if it was ever going to come. Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)

I'd really like a quote on that claim. 12 minutes ago, tooting said: The beta testers are hardly going to tell you it's junk are they It's by no way the most anticipated addon ever You guys really do fall for some lines... Of course they're not. But everything they've presented regarding the CRJ has been amazing in detail and quality. I really hope we finally see it released! And from the looks and feedback from the developer and testers at Aerosoft, it looks like it's happening this time. Besides - there's no need to be acting condescending towards other members, just because they're more optimistic than you (apparently) are... August 1, 20178 yr I also don't know if it's the most anticipated product ever, probably something from PMDG or ORBX would have covered that record. It would probably win the "product that nobody ever thought they would actually see in their lifetime, but here it (apparently) is" award, but even that might be lost if level D shuffle out the 757 one of these days. also, yes aerosoft never gave a firm release date in all these years, but the impression was regularly given over the last 4-5 years that this one was just about there, only to slip more and more, so people being skeptical would be natural. however when the dev says categorically that it's done and just sent for distribution, and is backed up by beta testers. I have no reason to doubt we'll have this available in the next few days.

Oh it's not "perfect" yet, and I'm sure that once it is widely released, users will probably find bugs that were not seen in beta, or bugs which were intermittently seen, and difficult to reproduce. The advisory VNAV feature for descent may still need some fine tuning, as it was one of the last features to be implemented, and has not been tested as exhaustively as some other FMS functions. But, it is also a feature which is not absolutely necessary to a successful flight. Fuel predictions (estimated fuel remaining at upcoming waypoints, and at the destination) can get screwed up if you make a substantial number of revisions to the flight plan once airborne. That was being worked on, and the public wide beta team did not get the very final RTM version, though the in-house beta testers certainly did. But, even if there are a couple of minor "warts", the aircraft is eminently flyable - and there will be service packs to address any serious bugs that may arise - but I have not seen anything in the last few weeks of testing that I would consider a "major bug". In particular, the aircraft has been (for me at least) completely free of CTDs, and frame rates are quite good. "The most anticipated add-on ever" is probably overstating things, but "highly anticipated" is very accurate. For some simmers, the CRJ may not be their cup of tea, but those who enjoy short to medium range regional jet operations I think are really going to like this product. The systems emulation is quite complete - you can fly it using a r/w CRJ AOM, and get the expected results. August 1, 20178 yr Looking forward to flying this uniquely different flying machine. Will present some different challenges and something new to learn. The MD-11 is no Boeing nor is it Airbus, but found it enjoyable to learn and fly its peculiarities. CRJ7/9 should provide some interesting study. Good to have some regionals to fly and finally another aircraft for V4. Pretty sure the beta team did a great job, but the fact that Frank kept breaking it over and over in beta testing, should pretty much squash any major bugs. No aircraft or software release for that matter will ever be wart free. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
August 1, 20178 yr I've gone from boy, to man, watching this thing get developed. I just hope the guy doing the coding doesn't get a bad back again just before the release, as that was always why it took so long, apparently. i remember commenting in the forum over at aerosoft, man that seems like a life time ago.....
