People are usually falling over themselves to gush publicly about new releases.    But perhaps it is wise to learn how to fly/use it properly first - otherwise it's useless information for anybody.

I feel like releasing a product only for FSX is a like an open beta testing nowadays :D

If I was on fsx,  I'd buy it in a heartbeat.  Now is the agonising wait for v4.  Whose money's on just before Christmas 🎄??

Yes Really! Not all add ons fall short!  The FSL A320 for example is superior to anything PMDG has produced. And the Majestic Q400 is every bit as good as any PMDG product.

The Coolsky DC-9 as well!  As good as anything out there!

I seriously think about reinstalling FSX

Well Mr PMDG only user you are missing out on other excellent products with that tunnel vision!

I love competition.  I just happen to like Boeing, so a QW 787 would nicely complement the PMDG 737, 747, and 777 that I currently use.  I sill would want to read some reviews before buying.  Not tunnel vision.

Go for it mate BUT?

Are you seriously serious about all that installation work for one aircraft and one that is still coming to P3Dv4 anyway?

Or is it an upgrade from FS2004 you are talking about?

Either way, I am hoping that what you are saying is done in jest.

Very tempting but expensive to fly now and fly again when P3Dv4 version is out, however, watch and wait is good advice I think.

Cheers mate

Sorry if been answered before,  can you export a company route file from simbrief like you can with pmdg .Rte type files??

Thanks

I'd buy it for FSX if it was a cheap upgrade to P3D V4 if you have the FSX version, but since there's no info on that I'm aware of, I assume not.

Over on their forum QW have said that they have yet to make a decision about an upgrade discount and that they will make an announcement as soon as that decision has been made.

So there is hope yet although I doubt if it will be cheap!

It all depends on how long they expect it to be before a v4 version is ready. If the upgrade price is reasonable and the wait is long (year or more) than I might buy if for FSX.

Now here is the voice of reason and logic. The only proviso here is that we may not be given a time frame for the v4 version. I,personally, would not buy if for FSX or even v3 as I cannot fly those programmes with my configuration. I can however, fly v4 with 4 monitors so I may yet go with that and a trackir set up for lateral tracking only.

That is my thought and I can only hope that these ancient legs are not thrown into the air before I can buy this bird, subject of course, to favourable reviews which I am sure will be forthcoming.

Cheers
