Completely removed GSX and then downloaded the new installer.

Nope, i think you need to set this in the parking editor. I didnt try yet but it appears there's an option to switch betweend AFCAD snapping and free pushback. Bot types of pushback can now be set in the visual editor, no need to get coordinates from AFCAD tool first.

First you need to define the pusback nodes in the editor anyways, guess thats why its not enabled by default. Free pushback allows to set two different pushbacks consisting of two nodes each. One node is for end position of nose wheel (including final heading) and the second node defines the curve of the pushback.

It works good , done a couple of airports with bad afcads , really like it

Yes, see changelog: 

• Change: Facility data not queried anymore while cruising, to prevent a simulator bug that result in crashing while flying over remote areas.

Had a play earlier and gotta say this is a great update! Heads up to Umberto and his team for the continued support and enhanced feature set. Really looking forward to seeing more aircraft developers making use of the GSX features.

Having huge issues with this even with the full installer.  All antivirus turned off but get a message saying access to the path C:\Users\User\Documents\Perpar3Dv4Add-ons\Dreamteam Addon Manager\add-on.xml is denied.

Any ideas?

try running live update, that's another method of installation

your  folder  is  not  set  to  read  only  by  any  chance  just  a thought uac  set  down  to  never  run the  download  as admin

yep did that first go then full uninstall then install.
