Well, you have all kind of subreddits, some are more hostile or sketchy than others. The r/flightsim sub is not one of those to be honest, just a bunch of passionate people. The user who claimed he was accepted actually showed a screenshot of the invite so I'm not really doubting him. Of course, on the internet you're never 100% sure but given that said invites (or screenshots in this case) are extremely rare, I don't believe he stole it from someone else. Seems oddly specific and weird to then have something against an entire site, with millions of users, one of the most visited websites in the US alone, because of a very specific sub-community with a handful of users.
