Screenshot requests to alpha testers and Microsoft

Featured Replies

Having seen the beautiful screenshots in the latest media update I had an idea:

Why don’t we ask the participants of the tech alpha to give some screenshots of certain areas and ask Microsoft to post them in the next previews?

So let me start: I would like to see how the areas around Anchorage look. Any chance to see some pictures of Wasilla, Palmer or Wolf Lake (4AK6)?

That would be a super cool surprise if Microsoft could approve some requested shots in January 2020!

So who is next?

Yeah, would be really great.

I would like to see the cities of poor countries in South America, Asia and Africa. Would be nice to see if the sim is really capturing enviroment of those cities.

To be more precise I will list some cities:

- Cape Town, South Africa
- Cairo, Egypt
- Lagos, Nigeria
- Jakarta, Indonesia
- Manilla, Philippines
- Mumbai, India
- Tehran, Iran
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- La Paz, Bolivia
- Lima, Peru
- Bogota, Colombia

I would be happy to see how any of those cities are depicted on the sim.

Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus // TCA Quadrant Airbus // TFRP T.Flight Rudder Pedals // Logitech Flight Multi Panel

Caribbean, Greece, Hawaii, Tahiti, Seychelles, Fiji, Samoa

Even though MS released some user pictures, doesn't mean they can. Pretty sure that if they where allowed to post pictures, then the place would be inundated with them.

Personally I'd like to see more of the UI. We have already seen the HUD with the instruments and the live time of day and weather modifiers, but I'd love to see the available camera options, the top menu, and even the general/realism/graphics/sound options.

Absolutely, Jack! I am not trying to influence anybody to violate his/her NDA!

My idea was that the alpha tester send/upload their screenshots to Microsoft and Microsoft can review them and has the sole decision if or if not they publish them.

In addition to my previous post:

Frankfurt in Germany (EDDF) comes to my mind.

branding these countries as poor was particularity unnecessary in that sentence

I''m pretty sure he meant poor as in "those places which hardly get chosen for screenshots".

I really want to see some screenshots from Finland. Helsinki and Tampere.

Each Tech Alpha screenshot has a watermark and the devs pick the ones to show, the watermark tells you which insider it is.

That was not what he suggested.  He suggested the Alpha members submit the requested screenshots to Microsoft for Microsoft to post.

No edit was made to the OP's post. If he had edited his post, it would be clearly marked as such...

...aside from which no one (except a moderator) can edit their own post after the fifteen minute window has expired...
