March 27, 20206 yr Nice to see RW flight numbers too, at KLAX. May all your landings be safe ones! Hugh Costello - NZWN
March 27, 20206 yr Nice eye candy but not impressed with default liveries for various airlines. Years of work have built the Vatsim network to where it is today. People have thousands of hours learning how to be excellent ATC and all the pilots that fly on the network. We have a program called FLAI that gives us all the world's different airlines with correct liveries. TBH, these default MSFS servers are full of kids doing whatever they want, even the "Live Pilots" that MS is promoting for those that follow the rules...yea, sure they will. If they lock Vatsim out, I know there will be many many folks that will not be happy with that. Another reason to stay with P3D. Eric
March 27, 20206 yr Amazing video. Can we please have the option to turn off some of those annoying distracting dirt spots from the windshield ? Thanks Evan
March 27, 20206 yr People who start off with "nice eye candy but..." normally end up saying something that doesn't make. Still holds true Edited March 27, 20206 yr by Krakin 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

Still holds true I'm discovering that these people are heavily invested in another sim; they know if this MSFS succeeds, it will mean less third party content/hardware support for their supported platform. I'm sure VATSIM will still exist because the notions you highlighted; however, you have the realize 99% of simmers don't use VATSIM... Matt King
March 27, 20206 yr Interesting...I know that the whole point of the video was multiplayer, but I wonder if there is an option to fly around with live traffic, but not other people. I like the idea of live traffic, but i'm not sure about having to fly with a bunch of other random people. I'm having visions of Airforceproud95 videos on YouTube 😂. Also very interested to learn how/if a service like PilotEdge will fit into this ecosystem. Oh and, I'm still in awe of the visuals! Every video so far has had so many jaw dropping moments in them. Seems there there were a little variation in the cloud types in this video, though still slanted heavily toward cumuliform types. Cloud lighting looked so good in the video and screen shots. If they can fix whatever lighting is causing the clouds to look like volcanic ash or dense smoke every once in a while, I think they will have it nailed. Chris
March 27, 20206 yr Vatsim, and Pilot Edge have their places. Realistic live ATC is significant part of flight and training. Having said that, I have always desired a flight sim where everyone around the world using that simulator would be together online. One gigantic representation of real life simmers sharing the same world. Vatsim and Pilot Edge gave a hint of that, but you always knew that there was soo much more real life simmers and traffic out there but we just weren't all connected. This multiplayer world seems alot closer to fulfilling that desire I'm sure many of us have had. Sure their will be goof offs but again, this is the entire planet, I would think that most people you come across won't be in the middle of crashing into the same exact tower that you happen to be at. The idea of flying in the same live world as most all the other simmers is much more exciting to me than the dread of running into some careless joyrider. Not sure how they work ATC into this, maybe that is a vatsim/pilot Edge plug-in using a private group. Given the option of a vatsim like experience as we have it now, or a world where every person at home simmimg is represented in the game, I would choose the latter. Maybe we can have both someday.

March 27, 20206 yr That desert picture... Wow! Those dunes look amazing. (I've always been disappointed with how deserts are depicted in FSX/P3D) The setting sun, above the clouds is the 'winner' in my book, though. Seems like, Asobo/Mircosoft finally has gotten the lighting engine right. This sim, just looks more and more beautiful, with each video/picture. P.s - the Real Live Traffic is a surprise to me. I didn't know they were gonna implement that. 😮 Is there an ATC Feature Video coming, at some point? Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471
