I've also owned RealityXP avionics, and guess what? Never had an issue either. It's like six of one, half dozen of the others. I think the point is, if you do have an issue and you have the RXP unit, you will get timely resolution of the issue. If you have the F1 unit, you’re SOL (“sorrowfully out of luck”, of course).

Identical issue F1 response "It's hard to sort issues like that, it's probably your hardware". RXP solved it, then thanked me for working with them. May 26, 20206 yr Also for the post stating that F1 gtn’s are more widely supported in P3D: Any model with an F1 Gtn can have the reality XP one swapped with after a couple of clicks in the reality xp add on menu in sim. So that’s a non issue. Go reality Xp and get back to enjoying your sim. May 26, 20206 yr Here is an important question for me: can you control it without the mouse? I seem to recall that when the F1 GTN530 was released this was an emphatic NO, which is a complete deal-breaker. Maybe they fixed it. The RXP is completely controllable from the keyboard, and hence mappable to real buttons and switches. May 26, 20206 yr RXP - no question. Better support, easily integrated into aircraft designed for F1 GTN, quick updates for P3D users, quick updates with new Garmin Trainers, did I mention better support? David Porrett
May 26, 20206 yr Since I upgraded Windows to W10 version 2004 The F1 GTN 750 is very sluggish and basically unusable (both in P3DV4.5 and V5). It seems like the Garmin trainer is the culprit and it does not play nicely with this pre-release version of W10. Does the RXP unit have the same problem (I believe it also uses the Garmin trainer) or has anyone found a solution? Edited May 26, 20206 yr by pinepix62 Johan Pienaar

My experience is that the Trainer when run standalone is very laggy and slow, however I just checked again the RXP fitted into the Realair Turbine Duke and it worked normally. I am also using W10 2004 edition. David Porrett

May 26, 20206 yr Is there any concerns in installing the Rxp GTN 750 unit in a system that has already the F1 unit installed? Im talking about the Garmin Trainer. Because the trainer version advertised in rxp site is completely different from the one f1 uses. No need to reinstall the Trainer.. Edited May 27, 20206 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
May 27, 20206 yr Ah, you´re talking about this correct? I was confused with the Garmin Aviation Trainers ver. 2.7.0.0 😄 So, if i have the 6.62.3.0 version installed, the RXP will see it too correct? No need to install anything else? Thanks and sorry about the offtopic! Edit: Just bought it and installed. Now to the manual .... 👍 Edited May 27, 20206 yr by FlavioSSA Flavio Cardoso - P3Dv4.5 HF3 Win 10 Pro 64Bits - i74960X 4.5ghz - ASUS Rampage IV Black Ed. - Corsair H150i Platinum - 32gb Ripjaws Z - ASUS RTX 2080 SUPER SC - MCP 737R 2015 Virtual Avionics
