No developer planes yet?

Featured Replies

Come on developers give us something!anything to fly. The canned Microsoft planes are pretty much a joke when we are used to planes like A2A, milviz! PMDG, Leonardo MadDog HotStart and many others. PLEASE come up with something soon. Please.

In case you’re wondering that’s Carando’s Cessna 182.

FS2020

Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

I mean good planes take time to build together and because of how sophisticated they were and their weird hooks into FSX and P3D I suppose they need to review the SDK's and start a lot of things up from scratch see what they can use from the game engine on its own.  Things like the checklist interface etc.  No need for an external system if the game has it built in just need to make it work etc.

I assume many developers like PMDG are going to take their time to push the sim to the limit which is what a lot of their customers expect when you spend that kind of money.

Not going to happen for some time, there is no workable SDK for complex third party aircraft - but it's being worked on and we're helping with that.  Look for such addons to start working their way into the sim in about 12 months.  There is absolutely no way to speed that process up.

Now, this is PRECISELY why I laughed hysterically at all the posts from flight simmers about:

- Not needing addons any more (I mean, that was insanity run amok, it really was).

- Telling everyone they had removed P3D / X-Plane,

- Informing the world they were buying addons for P3D / X-Plane anymore,

and other nonsense.

Well I guess that's that....will the last person out please turn out the lights?

  • I don't, and still don't have a desire.. I'm perfectly happy VFRing and light IFRing around with the available aircraft
  • No regrets deleting 3TB worth of the part time job it was maintaining and upgrading X-Plane and its spaghetti of plugins, addons, Ortho and dependencies
  • Goes to the above.. If I don't have it installed, I'm not buying for it

What an absolutely awful post

I see you represent Aerosoft in your user title. Your passive aggressive statement here towards us is certainly not going to win you, or the company you represent any accolades.   This elitist attitude is a dying breed in the simming world and those companies, and those who represent companies that continue to keep this attitude will soon learn you need us more then we need you..

Be kinda comical to find those people. Probably too busy reloading P3D and Xplane. 😉

To quote Jorg Neurmann ( head of MSFS )   " -they will bring helicopter into the game (they will build 4 or 8), but it will take more than a year (there are over 10000 heliports(!!!)) and it will also bring activities. But it wont be free, because its actually like a new sim "

MSFS 2020 is not going anywhere for awhile

Seriously.. you actually represent the company?  Kinda childish and unprofessional.

I personally can wait a year for you guys to get your act together without the need to buy any products from you for the other sims.  There's plenty of great stuff to do with MSFS for the time being.  No regrets on deleting the obsolete stuff.

you can go ahead keep on acting like you know it all and laugh all you want by yourself . Ill repeated again I was one of those that deleted everything and Again Im happy .

If the itch for flying some good quality aircraft hits me again   ill go ahead and borrow a friends cirrus for a couple of hours to lurk around Orange county or go down to catalina island for the day .
