"Your bandwidth too low....."

Featured Replies

Me too. Just before the 'bandwidth too low' message appears, sound drops out for a second but no crackling as Ron experienced.

Been going on since Friday

Same here. Been happening more frequently this long weekend. My thought was it's their servers being overloaded due to more users being logged on...

Hi,

I've been without this issue for a very long time, and now... all of a sudden... "your bandwidth is too low".

I can't understand!

My bandwidth is the same as always!

 Regards

This started for me last night too, never really had any issues before at all.

I started ranting about Sky Broadband but after seeing this thread added to again, maybe its something a little more central

FS PC - AMD7900X3D / MSI RTX 4090 24gb / 32gb Ram / Varjo Aero / Bravo Quadrant / Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog / Yoke / TPR Pedals

UK Skytours - http://www.ukskytours.co.uk

Same for me. Intermittent bandwidth too low issue. Nothing to do with our bandwidth I suspect.

I think the message is misleading. I suspect, as many do, that it's related to MS servers being overloaded. Message should be something like "Our servers are congested".

Same here on my last 3 flights, never had that before so often...

Just got this message yet again.  I had disabled IPv6 on the ethernet card as some had suggested but it has failed to resolve this problem.  I was only flying over Scotland in the FBW A320 so the scenery is not so intense.  Is this 'low bandwidth' error going to become the new DXGI error which besieged Prepar3D for many years?

Regards

Chris

I suggest not making any changes to your hardware or settings to try and resolve this. Re-enable IPv6. Anyone suggesting that is at best guessing and it is not the solution. You can only complicate the issue further by trying to fix what is not broken on your end. I believe more and more that this is exclusively a Microsoft issue and it is they who need to up their server game.

And yes, after not having this issue for a while, I got it again today too. Very annoying!

Im also having this...and never had. 500MB of bandwith.

The sim should continue, and not paused in the middle of the flight.

Hope next update solve this issue.

Ive only really experienced this over the past couple of days, which coincided with formatting my pc, fresh install of W11 Pro and the sim.  Voted on the aforementioned link
