Hi, is there any solution how to push the SPEED BRAKES buton without mouse? I was not able to find suitable key-mapping. Trying to hit such a small red button on the left side of the left horn of the yoke while on a landing approach is VERY uncomfortable process....

look for spoilers and choose extend spoilers to one key and retaract spoilers to another key..   toggle spoilers doesn't always work and spoiler axis likewise.

I have mapped both to switches on my joystick and they work wonderfully 🙂

System specs...   CPU AMD5950,  GPU AMD6900XT,  ROG crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, Corsair 64 gig LPX 3600 mem, Air cooling on GPU,   Kraken x pump cooling on CPU.  Samsung G7 curved 27" monitor at 2k resolution ULTRA default settings.

I can also confirm that 'Toggle Spoilers' works perfectly on this aircraft, so you only need to assign one key if you are short of them! 👍

The key scanning seems slow on MSFS at the moment, so it doesn't always register the presses, and people sometimes confuse this with not working.

For instance, the 'active pause' on the pause-break key can take a few presses sometimes and is a bit of a pig! 🙄

Sim related, not aircraft of course.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

The default key for spoilers is "/" found above the right # keypad, not the one bellow

Using Graham's fix for the dead avionics stack, I took the Mooney from Orlando to Boston. Had a nice lobster dinner and made a night flight from KBOS to KATL. It was almost a full moon and the Crazy Ivan only popped up twice during the night flight.  Very enjoyable while I watched tv in the afternoon and a Netflix movie in the evening.

Still hoping to see the Carenado update soon.

Regards,

Ray

What the heck!  You should have made a stop here on the Maryland Eastern Shore to crack some blue crabs and finish off with a crabcake and one of our famous Dogfish Head IPA's.

UPDATE

Best-

Carl Avari-Cooper

I would imagine they are waiting on the next MSFS update.

I’m not sure where or how we will see the Mooney update. How did the buyers get the C182 update?

I don't have the 182, but I imagine that the updates are released through the market store in user's content. Up to date or update available section.

I got mine through the MS store eventually.

It does say when there is an update, but maybe runs a few days behind the official sites.

You have to go to content manager and start it manually.  It says 'update available', and the version number and size.

My ORBX London was also updated - I have the MS version of the Shard back (and a few other buildings) - much better, as MS/Asobo put a lot of effort into the ones they produced! 🙂

My C182T is definitely updated, as mine had the pad added and the few other fixes they mentioned.

I have been meaning to pay the Carenado forums a visit, as apparently they have noted most (if not all) of the Ovation problems and say they are working on an update.

The C182 update happened fairly quickly, so here's hoping!. 👍

You sir...have crossed a line!

Talking about great food is one thing....but posting pics that are sure to incite drooling to unsuspecting simmers who dip into this thread looking for Mooney dope (In my best DCS voice "Requesting Bogey Dope....LOL")...out of bounds Sir!

You have 2 options:

  1. Send everyone who requests it....a care package shipped immediate airfreight with the aforementioned food products you prominently display
  2. Send a Mooney to KADS, pick me up...fly me there...and feed me the stuff you post in the pics

Please let me know your choice. 😉

Would take too long.  Would use this instead, but wasn't the Dallas Stars that took out my defending St Louis Blues this year????
