October 3, 20205 yr I didn't know where else to share this little occurrence but it was nothing short of amazing so enjoy! We left Gaylord pre-dawn up and over the Big Mac bridge into Michigan's upper peninsula and on around to land in Oshkosh in our custom IFR plan. Parked for 20 min and got some coffee in the airport cafe and decided to hop back in the TBM930 and set up, in the MFD, the next IFR FP to rural town of Albert Lea MN, KAEL. As I'm approaching the base of the thick cloud cover at about 7000' taking off out of KOSH I hear ATC (liveatc.net, dialed into KOSH), controller say, "Ice formation is being reported between 8,000 and 11,500'"... A few seconds later there it was, forming on the bloody windscreen! OMG, I about SAB! Hit the anti-ice controls and voila, all better! I tell you I keep having experiences in this thing unparalleled in all of my decades of FSX/P3D and I hope things get sorted out soon for all of those folks struggling w/ problems. Anyway, good luck all! October 3, 20205 yr I had a similar experience this morning from Cedar Rapids to Rapid City. As much as thing is buggy and as much as I complain about it, there's absolutely no going back for me. The only thing I miss right now is Radar Contact, but if Asobo manages to revamp the ATC to the point that it will work like the real deal, that would make me really happy. Yes, but I was about 4K AGL and I don't think it had the detail of the real deal, having ridden over it in 2016 in my Dreamliner (2016 BMW R1200RT). October 3, 20205 yr Every flight there are moments where you say; OMG and other things. I too feel for those who seem to have had nothing but trouble and angst since day one. I'm sure these bugs and horrors will get sorted out. Today it was the turn of the Libyan Desert to make me realise how incredible this thing is. . . Edited October 3, 20205 yr by Will Fly For Cheese

October 3, 20205 yr I had one airport close on me as I was approaching it. (the game gave the option to ignore the ATC and land anyway) Edited October 3, 20205 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick

October 3, 20205 yr If you want a spectacular flight head to Elmira Corning airport in upstate NY. I am heading there to check out Watkins Glen in the Fingerlakes region and sure enough the colors are "starting" change... I have an incredible assortment of oranges and yellows mixed in with the trees. I am gobsmacked this is a vanilla sim... I've never seen all my add-ons combined produce this type of visual aesthetics.... Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
