Pretty slick company based in Slovakia. Not entirely sure, but I think I saw the price tag at $1.3M when browsing other articles yesterday.

I quote from their website:

Among advanced technologies are the retractable wings, folding tail surfaces, parachute deployment system, etc.

It's a seriously impressive flying car IMO. There have been other flying cars where the user has to manually attach the "plane bits", but the Klein is automated, and the wings are already connected. Fascinating transformation.

Oh, it's all getting out of hand...🙄

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

That is very cool!

Not this claptrap again. Why do people actually keep trying to invent one of these things? They might just as well try combining a camera with a kettle for all the use these things are ever going to see. What part of this don't they understand: If you can afford to spend 1.3 million dollars, you can afford a Cessna and a BMW, so why would you want one toy which was inferior to both of those two toys?

In times where phones (I am from days where they where used for... phoning) are messengers, photo cameras, video cameras, walkmans, web browsers, mail clients, code scanners, watches, callendars, paying tools, gps receivers, mappers, compasses, spirit levels, torches and much more, I tend not to be surprised at all.

You can actually boil water with a phone already; just overcharge it until it sets on fire, and Bob's yer uncle. 🤣

I thought such things were there since like 2005 or so?

Without full autonomy (or as simplet as a DJI UAV) and VTOL... those things won't takeoff....

Same as earlier 787 Dreamliners then  - the lipo-kettle-boiling mod
