My sim definitely looks a lot better after the last update. Sharper and better colors. All my graphics settings are the same as before the update. I'm running at 2k on high-end settings with a 980ti. Anyone else notice anything? Is it something they fixed with the older cards (for those with the GTX 600-700 and m series graphics) that filtered over to me?

Maybe related to the updated TAA

I don't know what it's related too, just know it's noticeably better. Even in the profile hangar the plane itself looks better.

Mine looks worse for some reason. I'm back to jagged edges and marching ants on the displays. I'm on a 1080ti at 2K. Not sure what to try as my settings are the same as they were before the update.

Because you're using NCP to add AA etc. So.....it will for you.

For me graphics are a little better, not much though, still some graininess and some jaggies, they can improve graphics more.

Yep, better for me too, and scenry and photogrametry loads much faster now

yeah I was able t wind some textures up, the runway looks much better now, and still maintain 36 FPS  (I lock my frames at 36 which is 1/4 of my 144hz monitor frequency ) 

No difference for me, same as before the patch. 

the only thing I noticed this morning on a flight from EGGD to EGLL was that the landscape looked rather pixelated at 10,000 feet - never noticed that before. I have recently lowered my LOD settings back to 100 from 200 though.

The first pic was before the update and the post further down the thread was after it. While the pics were not taken at the exact same spots, they are both around the Savannah area with the Sim set to present light clouds, 10am takeoff from KSAV. The colors are different, everything is sharper including the plane, the LOD and tree density are different and the slight haze that I never could put my finger on seems to be gone. None of my settings have changed and I looked in settings to confirm.

I don't think it had anything to do with changes for those with the GTX600,700 m series cards (which I had speculated) as in the official forums they're stating nothing was fixed for them. I'm running a 980ti on highend graphic settings

Yup, Much better for me as well, but i was reluctant to mention it.

So what should the settings be in NCP? Default?

It also looks better to me and the Fall season mod really adds immersion for us folks that don't live in the tropics.

Power management should be set to " Prefer Max performance"

And

Texture filtering to "High Quality" or some like "Performance". 

Everything else default.
