I managed it by turning on vs and dial up or down with the knob to the right as desired, and the re-engaged alt when I was at my altitude.

I did the same thing with the VS and pushing ALT when I was near the altitude I wanted.  Definitely not as easy as the G1000 AP.  Gotta see how my RSG AP panel interfaces with the PA44's AP.

I was able to lean the mixture using the EGT gauge as a guide.

I noticed this in the aircraft selection screen but in sim I have had no problem cruising around 155 knots at relatively low altitude (3500 feet).

There is no relative movement between foreground or background objects.

If you cannot see a gauge, because something is in the way, it does you no good to move your viewpoint with the mouse (or Track IR)

Looking at the screenshot above, it has a certain flatness to it... there may be credence to this... more hurried output...  then when looking at some others, it has the typical @Carenado visual attractiveness.... I will wait for some detailed reviews AND THE MOONEY FIX before deciding.

Panels are definitely 3D, not sure what that person is on about 2D panels...
