AIG AI Manager OCI for MSFS – Development Announcement

Featured Replies

Just got it loaded up for the first time and all I can say is wow, wow, wow!

To @Kaiii3 and the entire AIG team, take a bow!  It's so incredibly nice to see airports full of AI traffic again, I am so excited by what I'm seeing.  Going to do a quick airliner flight before bed just for the feeling of not flying into a ghost town tonight.

There's gotta be some kind of symbolism here whereas MSFS launched at the height of COVID's impact on the airline industry and we have all been flying into largely lifeless airports since then.  Today, the airline industry is rebounding and our virtual airports are full again.  I love it.

Thanks again to all involved.

Now it's time for addon scenery developers to start thinking again about proper gate assignments etc.

My downloads keep getting hung up at various points. Am I not being patient?

@Kaiii3 and the rest of the AIG crew. You guys are rocks stars! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💗

How do you set these if you plan on using MSFS Live AI?

Same options, but keep AI traffic to Online.

So just to clarify - enabling Online AI in the sim overrides the AIG Manager flightplans?

I'm new to this and oh boy did I underestimate how long installing all of the flight plans I want was going to take....guess I'll be up for a while.  Very exciting though!

This is the part where the one-click installer really shines - lots of smarts went into this process.

The only problem is that it gets stuck every airline while trying to download the AITRSP zip file, so you have to manually override.  PITA

one thing to check - make sure you're logged in to the AVSIM and flightsim.com libraries (the logins might be separate from your forum login).

I am logged in to Avsim and AIG - didn't know I had to be logged in to Flightsim.

A couple clarifications please.

1. Does the Controller have to be connected when flying with live AI?
2. Assumption is that the GA packages are not working with live traffic?

Now we need tons of airport AFCAD files in order to get all of these airliners parked where they need to park.  Bring on AFCAD for MSFS.

I noticed Alitalia gets installed.  Need to get rid of that and replace with Ital 🙂

Need an option to delete defunct airlines.- LOL

So far I've downloaded about 20 airlines... so excited... feel like a child at Christmas!  I just noticed that the "OCI Only" checkbox is not checked by default in the Settings>Updates page (but it is checked in the .pdf tutorial).  Is not having it checked going to cause any problems?

It should point out any airlines that are defunct the next time you launch AI Manager. (if the database has been updated)

AIG's flights are injected via the Traffic Controller app, so no it won't.

You can have Online and Traffic Controller running at the same time.

Got it resolved. In my case it was the OCI directory. Must be something like ...\Content\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci-beta. Be sure you have autoinjection activated. Since then I have ai traffic. Start AIG TC then fire up MSFS and choose your flight. Nothing else to do.

Thanks...yeah it seems to work without needing to click on the connect button.  I think there were only a few aircraft and I did not see them initially....
