December 1, 20205 yr I bought it. I have had 3 short flights. I haven't done any exhaustive study, but so far it seems really nice. Looks very good inside and out. Definitely high res textures. There's an option to switch to a lower res texture set. The instruments look especially good. Sound overall is good, but a bit hit and miss as some switch sounds have a popping in the loop, some seem to be missing and other sound volumes are off (APU is mostly silent which is funny if you've ever heard a APU running). The FMC needs work. I didn't mess with it at all. I have the 'giant font' issue. The autopilot seems to work, but I can't say with certainty, as I don't fully understand the way it's supposed to work. Same with the strange little system that manages the engines. The flight model seems good, as far as I can determine. The lighting is very good. There's a set of effects applied to the engines and airfoils. While appreciated, look kinda funky with EA turned on and I don't have the latest HF applied. So there's that. Overall, a good release. There's been 2 updates already, which I see as a good sign for the future. Meaning, the passion is there to make the aircraft better as opposed to 'here, we're done. man, i'm glad that's over with'. It's not perfect but a huge step up from any previous offerings for this aircraft. I don't regret buying it which, now days, is the true measure for me. December 1, 20205 yr Thanks for the mini-review. Resistance is quickly becoming futile and I’m probably going to buy it tonight. What flightplan format does the FMS use? December 1, 20205 yr It´s a bit pricey, so I rather wait a few days and will search for reviews. But from what I have seen and read so far, this little aircraft simply needs to got into my addon collection. I´m still on P3D V4.5 and also have MSFS2020 installed. MSFS2020 looks really great, but apart from alot of addon airports allready available, there are no commercial Aircraft addons worth buying so far, which only makes MSFS2020 usefull for VFR flights. So I guess for quite some time, P3D is still the way to go when flying IFR. System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3

Cheers, Rob. Hey Rob, I've had that issue happening for a while and with some research it seemed to be that TrueGlass.DLL was the cause. Turn it off with .OFF and you shouldn't see that happen anymore. I do believe that TFDi is aware, not sure if a fix for it is in the works or not yet... Hey Rob, I was plagued by the same problem, mine got better when I de-installed all my sound controllers in the device manager, which I don't use anyway...nvidia audio and some stuff...maybe it helps you too. December 1, 20205 yr Okay so I bought it. Some thoughts She seem very nose-up during approaches? IIRC most BAe146 had a very shallow deck angle on approach due to lack of slats First officer ASI doesn't seem to work Autopilot blew past localizer intercept (gentle 15 degree intercept) RMI seems to have Captains needle and F/O's needle switched, meaning dashed pointer (captains side) is driven by NAV2 and vice versa. Have made 2 flights so far. It's an OK package but it really needs a few more updates to adress some glaring issues EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12

Cheers, Rob. The only DXGI_DEVICE_HUNG issue I ever had with P3D was related to TrueGlass by TFDi, after moving the *.dll out of the folder it stopped immediately. In case you use TrueGlass it might be worth a shot if not already done so
December 2, 20205 yr Es, that's a very strange thing. I have it in vanilla 5.1HF1 but not in plain 5.1. So I had to get rid of HF1. There are threads over at the LM forum, but no cause was found so far. I'm very interested in your findings, also because if you are up and running again you can post a video covering the 146.
