December 18, 20205 yr Actually removed it completely and freed up 900GIG of SSD space. Thanks for asking. 😀 MSFS

I really wish they’d work getting their existing planes into MSFS rather than a “vanity” project of the Aerostar. Nothing against the Aerostar. But having the 182S would be great! Those for whom get the experience and joy of flying through environmental immersion like MSFS. Otherwise, your simple formulation is like saying that: VFR in a J3 Cub is not real flying, no? Well, as they say, all mileage is variable. But for many of us who have several hundred hours in the real thing all this "immersion" stuff is a bit over done. December 18, 20205 yr I never went away from P3D. I'm a VR exclusive guy so until the 22nd that is not likely to change. And until the big iron is available at study level on MSFS it will remain a tie between both for me.

So for once not having any real life flying experience is a benefit here because I can enjoy both without disturbing my mental peace! 🧠☮️😜
December 18, 20205 yr After six months there's still something that P3D has that MS2020 doesn't and that's AIRAC nav data that matches my charts and GNS. I don't see this being fixed by MS2020 anytime soon. Ryzen 5 5600X - Noctua U12A, 32Gb Vengence, Sapphire Pulse 5700xt, WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD

I don't see this being fixed by MS2020 anytime soon. From what I remember, P3D doesn’t update nav data for you and you need a provider like Navigraph. Navigraph has nav data for MSFS too, so not sure what you’re getting at.
December 18, 20205 yr If you've already paid for P3D or XP no reason not to use them. I haven't found the need to go back to either because the world is so large and there are an infinite list of areas to check out in MSFS. I took a flight from New Zealand to Sydney and had no idea how mountainous New Zealand was. I think I am going to do an Alaska flight today. It is just endless. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
December 18, 20205 yr MSFS is nice flying VFR the Cessnas' and the smaller planes. I'm a tube guy and fly PMDG'S 737NGxu and the Triple 7 plus Quality Wings 787. The tubeliners in MSFS don't had up to what I have been flying in P3D4.5. They're nice to look at, but thats it. The FBW A320 is somewhat better, but I'm a Boeing guy. I have to say, MSFS is a much better sim, but till I'll have to wait till developers can bring the big birds to the sim. Also, I really miss Chase Plane. The camera system in MSFS is too confusing and complicated, maybe I'm too used to Chase Plane. Gnnacino
December 18, 20205 yr I go back every once and a while to fly the FSLabs Airbus. I also bought the JustFlight Bae146 and it’s quite amazing, but I feel like maybe I shouldn’t have bought it as I likely won’t get anywhere near the usage out of it that I would have a year ago. December 18, 20205 yr I haven't been back to P3D - mainly because I uninstalled it once MSFS was released, but I am continuing to use XP11. I haven't been in MSFS in a couple of weeks. December 18, 20205 yr I've been using P3D for Vatsim flying, the system fidelity is what I need for the airline style flying that's built around. But even as I enjoy the accurately rendered addon airports and systems procedures, the scenery looks terrible. MSFS is beautiful to look at and exploring with the aid of Neofly in a C172 is great fun. But I'm very aware that the physics engine is buggy and that between updates anything could break or become unusable or suddenly look worse than it used to. The bar is much higher and we've all seen the state of the art with the original August release. Horses for courses. i7-10700K; RTX 2070 Super; 16GB; P3Dv4.5HF3 & MSFS2020.
