It's probably not armed, especially since it will be going on the MSFS Store and replicated as being in the modern era, but there's nothing stopping you from having a bit of a dogfight if you want to, not that it was the recommended way to go about fighting by 1942.

This is true, a zero would have your butt if you got low and slow and tried to get into a typical online turning furball with it.

Not with one of those we didn't, that's a bf109E (braced tail struts are the biggest giveaway, but the armament is different too); the Luftwaffe were using the bf109F and the Fw190 by 1942 and by the Spring of that same year they were introducing the bf109G. 😉

I reacted to this comment, but on reflection, it may well be assumptive.  I hope, really hope, that the contents of this alleged glass does have relevance to the comment, but regardless it is not a good look for him, has no relevance to the topic and comes across as just a very personal barb against a person, who, I believe, has a lot more credibility than the author of this nonsense.

Personally, I will accept virtually any comment as long as it is related to the topic and does not involve any uncalled for, negative personal comments. 

Much the same as bringing up a persons toilet habits in a conversation regarding bubble gum.  Not warranted nor appreciated by me personally, and I think a public apology is warranted.

Gentlemen, keep to the subject of the Spitfire in a simulator please and not its place in history or mention of WW2. This is an international forum and sensitivities are still raw for those involved. Personal insults are out of order and those have been dealt with.
