Checking them once per month or just watching the monthly Q&A is certainly a viable solution. By the way, you are always welcome to visit the official forums and leave your opinion regarding these development updates in the relevant discussion thread. Jayne is usually there taking feedback and sometimes asking what people want to see improved. This actually happens to all threads I create, be it a development update, patch release, developer interview, general information, and even the water masks. Most of the time, within minutes after the thread's creation. It's quite amusing. Just FYI it's not me putting 1 star to any threads if you and @tweekzthink it's me! To be honest, the transparency and community engagement by Asobo is one of their strengths. I have no complaints that Asobo is continually engaging with the community (ie. the monthly Q&A, allowing us to upvote bugs and wishes and then they answer it). If anything, Asobo's engagement with the community is something that I think they do quite well. I have been critical of Asobo in other areas, but as for their transparency and community engagement, I give them very high marks for that. The Q&A is directed at the devs, the weekly "blog" is more the marketing/Social media department but I may post over on the official forums anyway, i know I'm not alone in thinking these blogs could be improved. I do agree the Devs are very open which is great, doesn't been things can't be better though 🙂 Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

I've never done that at AVSim Don't worry, lately I've been checking out the active users list after creating a thread and I'm fairly sure I know who it is. It's not really a problem because it doesn't affect the thread in any way, but it goes to show that the thread rating system is pretty much useless if it can be manipulated that easily.

I had absolutely no idea that runway 16/34 and runway 07/25 had been upgraded from grass to asphalt! It's been like that for six years, one of the things we actually did get from the European Union, since they coughed up half the money. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
February 5, 20215 yr My knowledge of it is based on the UK2000 VFR Airfields version (which I still use in P3Dv4, although I have not visited the airfield in a long time). Or Lockheed Martin? Or... well... IPACS? We can always long for more, but having been in the flightsim world for many years now, I find communication by MS/Asobo a big step forward over previous approaches. Which doesn't mean there's room for improvement, of course. Any roadmap is problematic I.e. CIG with Star Citizen, the deeper you go the more opportunity for dissapointment. I like the way it is, we can see what's being worked on and what's coming up - I would appreciate more insight into what's being developed, previews etc once and a while, the discovery series is after the lord mayors show so to speak. February 5, 20215 yr I'd like to have seen a stronger hint about the better autogen as that's probably going to make the biggest overall difference. Still, not long to wait.
February 6, 20215 yr Unfortunately no fix announced in the World Update 3 (UK) for the "coastline glitch" introduced by the World Update 2 (USA). Here a great (ugly?) example of before and after: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/coastline-glitch-water-creeping-up-coasts-cliffs/328532/154?u=stekusteku According to Feedback Snapshot the status of this bug is "started/backlog" whatever it means. I wonder how the cliffs of Dover and the Scottish shores will look like...

If you're not gonna do it monthly then make more effort weekly, one Paragraph does not equal a "blog". https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/automobilista-2-january-2021-development-update.15488/ You couldn't have picked a worse example. 90% of that "update" is fluff written like a personal blog. That might work for an indie developer and I understand can be more endearing but not appropriate for a major dev like Asobo or MS. No thanks.
